Our Story At Rincón Cocina y Tequila, we believe food is more than a meal — it’s a tradition passed down through generations. Our family-owned and operated restaurant was built on the idea that authentic Mexican cooking should always feel like home. From hand-pressed tortillas to slow-simmered sauces and carefully seasoned meats, every dish we serve is prepared the way our family has made it for years — with patience, passion, and respect for the flavors of Mexico. We don’t cut corners, and we don’t compromise on taste. As a family, we welcome you into our kitchen the same way we welcome guests into our home: with warmth, generosity, and plates full of tradition. Whether you’re joining us for tacos, a comforting bowl of caldo, or…

I loved it! The breakfast burrito with carnitas and green chilli was a real treat. It’s very large too!
As you can see, the enchiladas are great, including the mole sauce. Very friendly service
There’s lots of parking and plenty of seating inside, plus a terrace for warm weather. They also show NFL etc with game day special offers.

Stopped in for a late lunch/happy hour time. The portions were large, and the price wasn’t too bad. The queso was a little watery, but had a good flavor. The service was a little slow, and the restaurant was uncomfortably warm. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal.

We usually do takeout here and it is good. But whoever takes the phone orders just needs to listen more carefully. Last night we received cheese enchiladas instead of chicken, and ground beef taco instead of shredded beef. I hate ground beef, so my dinner was ruined. Since we were home already, we didn’t want to return to the restaurant. Do it right the first time! Pay attention! Don’t screw over your takeout customers-that’s the first step in losing your business altogether.

The lunch special I swear is some of the best value for the money in boulder. Got the lunch special steak fajitas that included rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, and your choice of either 4 four tortillas or 4 corn tortillas FOR $13!!!! Felt like the fajitas was a little bit under seasoned but again. For a huge plate of food tbh it was no reason to knock a star down when I can throw a little salt and pepper on myself Agua Frescas were super good too and they even allow a free refill 10/10 will come back!!!

Had a great brunch here. The wife had huevos rancheros and I had the vegetarian burrito, both were great.
They are currently repainting the outside and it is looking great.
Plenty of seating and a flat out amazing amount of tequilas to choose from.
Indoor and outdoor seating.
A nice bar inside also.
Very friendly staff, and a very clean restaurant.
Reasonable prices, and relaxing atmosphere.
Well worth the stop.
Stopped back by. Outside painting is done. Meals and plates are amazing still.
One of my favorite Boulder places to eat!
(Another update)
Once again an amazing meal. I had the spinach enchiladas and the misses had nachos. Both were flat out amazing. This restaurant has been spot on every meal I have had here. They have a huge selection of food and drinks. EVERY plate I have eaten here has been amazing. A very clean restaurant with very friendly staff. One of my favorite places in Boulder to eat!

This restaurant serves up large portions of authentic Mexican dishes, and we enjoyed everything we purchased. Prices are very reasonable too. The spicy salsa we requested was delicious, one of the best we’ve had in the area. Service was good, and our friendly waiter occasionally checked on us to fill waters and make sure our food met expectations. Where I had to knock a combined star are 2 things, the air conditioner didn’t work (maybe doesn’t even exist since they have wall-mounted fans) and the restaurant was noticeably dirty in certain places. We had to eat and sweat on a 90-degree day, so although the food was excellent the heat in the restaurant was terribly distracting. They had to open exterior doors for ventilation so flies were everywhere and swatting them away from our food became a chore we didn’t enjoy. The filth we saw were in the woman’s washroom and on the wall-mounted fans which had caked on dirt everywhere. We were worried the aged caked-on dirt would drop into our meals. We’ll go back, but only for take-out next time.

Genuine Mexican, service left a lot to be desired, they threw us in a corner and ignored us, we had to go to bar ourselves to order more drinks, the food arrived and we had No cutlery, so up we got again. ordered tacos and you choose the protein, so I asked for pescado (from my name you can guess I speak Spanish) and they sent out Asado (beef). They replaced and the fish was great, bit more attention to service and its a winner

I don’t know why I have never stopped before. I was actually craving Chinese food when I passed it up. I had time on my hands so I decided I wanted to try it. I circled the block to give it a try and was sooo glad I did.
Family run business. Service was good and the food was Amazing!! Happy Hour 2 for 1 House Margarita’s daily from 2-6.
I can usually tell how the restaurants food is going to be by the chips and salsa. The salsa had a nice heat to it with good flavor and the chips were just right.
I was excited to try the rest. I ordered the Steak Fajita. It was sizzling and smoking hot when it came to the table. WoW! It’s a lot of food. Definitely a meal that could be shared. Served with rice and your choice of beans and all the fixings for fajitas.
Dessert was sopaipillas. Bite sized with honey and an awesome whipped cream mixture. OMG!
I will definitely be back to try other menu items. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!

As a native from SoCal, I was incredibly pleased to find excellent and great portioned Mexican food so far from the border. I would absolutely return here for their drinks or the awesome food. Drink specials are particularly enticing and the quesabirria was very delicious.
