The restaurant is small but doesn’t feel cramped. We were seated along the edge, which offered a view of the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the view wasn’t very impressive—while it is technically a rooftop, you’re mostly looking at the neighboring office building and the hotel next door.
We ordered a drink and it was not something that could be digested. The taste was really bad. So we returned it.
Our waiter was kind and attentive, and the food was genuinely delicious. That said, the pricing felt very high, even for the area. While I don’t have any major complaints about the service or food, the overall experience just didn’t click for me. There was something about the atmosphere that felt off, and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. I found myself wanting to leave as soon as possible, as I didn’t feel particularly comfortable or at ease.
It may appeal to others, but personally, it wasn’t the right fit for me.
The restaurant itself is quite lovely and the views are stunning. The staff here is very welcoming and Erik, my server was very friendly and helpful. The brunch menu is very limited, but they had some good items. I opted for the Shrimp Cocktail and Sliders and everything was good. I just wished that the sliders would have come with a little side order of fries. The food is a bit pricey here, but that is to be expected in this area.
Overall, whether you are staying in the hotel or just passing by like I did, this is a nice spot to grab a quick meal or sit at the bar for a drink or two.
