Stopped here for lunch on a whim and was very pleased. The tater tots and fries were well seasoned, hot, and crisp. The Josie sauce served as a dipping sauce was addictive and the burgers were some of the best I’ve had. The crunchy edges of the smashed burger, soft bun, fresh lettuce and Josie sauce is created perfection. The best part though was the service. The place is clean and well designed with a fun mural and the people were all super friendly and helpful! If you have room, they have tasty gelato and yummy salted chocolate chip cookies. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved my visit to Burgers on the Edge! The smash burger was phenomenal—perfectly seared, juicy, and packed with flavor. Go with the tots as well, crispy and delicious. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. The service was outstanding as well; everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests had a great experience.
There’s plenty of comfortable seating, and even had a steady flow of to-go orders during the busy lunch hour, the staff handled it effortlessly. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, making it an easy place to kick back and enjoy a meal. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the level of service.
Overall, I was really impressed. This spot is a true gem in Williamsburg. I definitely recommend stopping by, and I’ll absolutely be back!

We’re from Tucson,AZ visiting family. We stopped into this local joint based on reviews. BotE did not disappoint. Kids both had double Pimp my Patty (build your own base burger) and wolfed them down. My wife had the Virginia Hot Chicken and was surprised at how much she liked it. I enjoyed the Nashville hot Chicken-not overly hot just well fried and seasoned with the right amount of spice. We had both fries and tots as sides. I preferred the tots over the fries, but both were crisp and hot and well seasoned. Their Josie sauce keeps you coming back for additional dips. Service was fast and we were checked on after our first few bites to ensure everything was good and to ask if we needed anything else. Overall, I’d highly recommend This spot of you’re in the area and have a hankering for a well made smash burger or fried chicken sando.

Visited after experiencing their incredible chowder at Chowderfest 2025 – still amazed at how they packed so many distinct flavors into a chowder! It really tasted like a burger!
Our experience at Burgers on the Edge definitely held up to our expectations after the chowder. We loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in, and the service made us feel welcome and comfortable. We got jalapeño poppin burgers and smash tots, and WOW! Will definitely be back, and are glad to have such a great burger joint in the Edge Distrcit!!

Fantastic. I was surprised how good it was. All the kids agreed. I got the jalapeño burger, they got the OG, kids burger, and kids tenders. They ate every last crumb. Prices are reasonable. Nice beer selection. Whatever they are doing they’re doing it right

Great burger experience!!! Fresh, made-to-order smash burger with Josie sauce was just right. And the accompanying tots were hot , crunchy, and deliciously tender inside ! Can’t wait to try the Chicken sandwich and skinny Fries!

Just tried out Burgers on the Edge and already can’t wait to go back! The Josie Sue burger was incredible, full of flavor and cooked just right. The Nashville tots were the perfect crispy side. I’ve got my eye on the cookie ice cream sandwich for next time (because yes, there will be a next time!).
What makes this place even better? They have a pay it forward option, which is such a meaningful touch and speaks volumes about their values.
So excited for them! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
