We (my family and I) came across Chapultepec while we were on our way to dinner at another Mexican restaurant… which we couldn’t find. The vibe of this place is amazing; love the crowd outside at the food truck, the vibrant decor and colors inside the restaurant, and the overall energy! We had chips and guacamole, veggie tacos, and a quesedilla! The food was good and the guacamole tasted homemade, just like how my mom makes it! All the ingredients were fresh. I do wish there were a few more vegetarian options or that they carried mushrooms so we can substitute mushrooms instead of meat.
I would come back here especially for the vibe! Also, when we were leaving, my mom and I saw an sweet-looking, elderly lady in the kitchen cooking. I’m guessing the magic behind the food is hers! No wonder everything tasted homemade!

I had no idea what I was getting myself into at 10:30pm on a Sunday coming here but I was not expecting the tacos to be the literal best. It was more of a taco stand situation and the service was fast. They were unfortunately out of a lot of things but that didn’t stop me from getting the carnitas the pastor and the pollo tacos. Best pastor i’ve ever had. And the habanero sauce had be crying from how hot it was so that’s a plus. So good, I will be back.

I love Mexican food and have visited many Mexican restaurants, including in Mexico. While the décor here is cute and the service was good, the food itself was mediocre. I understand that groceries are expensive, but the prices on the menu don’t match the quality or portion size I received. My plate looked more like something from a kids’ menu.

I love coming here the food is always delicious!! I usually come by myself and I usually don’t get the best service and they see to forget about me most of the time. The menudo could use more meat and hominy it’s mostly soup. But other than that the food here reminds me of back home in California!

Great little find. Authentic Mexican food and decor. The queso with chorizo the mega burrito and the combination #1 were perfect. So glad we found this place. Can’t wait to come back. Next time the Molé sauce.

I usually dont like to do reviews about a business , but this is unacceptable, first time coming to this place and will be my last time going there , I ordered two steak burritos , took forever to make them , ordered only with rice , beans and steak with the surprise that was only steak scent not a single piece because we couldn’t find it , the worst 40$ spend for 2 tortilla with rice and beans

Authentic, flavorful, and welcoming! The food at Chapultepec Mexican Restaurant and Bar is truly Mexican — fresh and full of flavor. The music, décor, and warm atmosphere make you feel right at home. The waitresses are attentive and kind, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

This place is a great spot for good food. Their soft carne asada tacos are pretty amazing only $3.75 each you may eat outside or inside. The women are kind and hospitable. Must check it out right off Hallandale Beach Blvd.
