About Us Urie’s A Mainstay In The Wildwoods (this is an article written about Urie’s in 1998 that gives a complete history) “What started as a seasonal, paper-plate seafood restaurant in 1956 and quickly grew into a huge complex has continued to remain one of the land mark restaurants in the Wildwoods for over 40 years. The Urie family vacationed in the Wildwoods and, like so many others, realized early on the potential for a summer business as the island’s popularity zoomed in the post-war era, attracting thousands and thousands of visitors for their annual two-week trek to the Jersey Shore.

Roomy, longtime (since 1956) casual choice for seafood, steaks & drinks on Wildwood Yacht Basin.

Urie’s Waterfront Restaurant – Wildwood, NJ

If you’re looking for the ultimate seafood dining experience in Wildwood, you need to visit Urie’s Waterfront Restaurant. This place is more than a restaurant — it’s the full dockside summer vibe: boats drifting by, live music filling the air, and even the Silver Bullet boat flying across the water while you enjoy cocktails right on the marina.

The food was outstanding. We started with juicy sliders, their famous crab bites appetizers (a must-try!), and a refreshing summer salad topped with chicken. The tomato flight was something special — with Greek, Mediterranean, Italian, and Mexican flavors all on one board. For mains, the stuffed lobster was fantastic, but the real star is the All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feast — endless Dungeness crabs, Blue Claw crabs, and Alaskan Snow crabs. It’s paradise for any seafood lover.

The drinks sealed the deal: a perfectly mixed Bloody Mary, a refreshing Orange Crush, a smooth Espresso Martini, and a tropical Blue Hawaiian that felt like a vacation in a glass.

The atmosphere is unbeatable — laid-back, lively, and perfect for summer nights. Inside, Urie’s has a great party space and a fun, lively bar. Plus, as soon as you walk in, you’ll see Sliders Bar, another huge spot that keeps the energy going all night.

✅ Delicious seafood (especially the crab feast)
✅ Fun cocktails & lively bar scene
✅ Dockside dining with marina views & live music
✅ Perfect for families, parties, or a casual night out

If you’re visiting the Wildwoods and searching for the best seafood restaurant on the water, Urie’s Waterfront is hands down one of the top spots. This is a true Wildwood summer tradition you don’t want to miss!

Great seafood, fun staff; LOVE eating outside on the roofed deck looking over the marina/yacht basin! Sean was a great waiter. All who work there are smiling & friendly.
NO RESERVATIONS, but we walked right in @ 5. Kid friendly, & interesting for them. Large indoor & outdoor dining areas, sports bar, & docks for boats to pull up, & ramps to disembark & come inside. Plenty of room for all

My experience at Uries was decent. It was my first night and Wildwood and we agreed on this restaurant for dinner. Firstly the atmosphere was great the view of the water and the deck they have is very nice especially at sunset. I ordered the clams casino and it was very good. I also got the Maryland blue crabs the crab was decent. There is also an arcade and bar inside the restaurant. My only complaint is the service. It was a busy night so I understand servers are busy but I wish our server was a little more attentive.

My family took a once in a lifetime trip to the ocean, from Texas. Hand picked a specific restaurant to have dinner and choose Uries. We were seated and given lunch menus. What we wanted to eat was on the dinner menu. So we wanted to wait until 4pm to order. We had an appetizer and drank our waters and waited. At 4 others were being seated all around us. Tables were prepared for All you can eat crab with brown paper table clothes and we were ignored. Noone ever came back to our table. I counted 15 wait staff lined up on the wall looking around and talking one even pointed at us while talking. After waiting until 420pm we finally got up threw $20 on the table and walked out. Not one single person spoke to us on the way out. Not any of the 15 waiters, not the bar staff, and not the 2 hosts at the front podium. Not even a Thank you for coming. Definitely felt like they intentionally did not want to serve us. Oh also every single question I asked about the menu was answered with short yes or no answers no suggestions were given no pleasantries at all. No specials were told to us. No “catch of the day” was told. I cant even imagine a reason for any if this behavior, I usually will make an excuse like oh they were busy or maybe shes training. No non of the above is excusable and completely ruined the dinner plans we had made. And to top it off it was my husbands birthday!!

We recently visited from Upstate NY. Our friend we were visiting suggested this restaurant for dinner. Kelly our waitress was very nice and attentive. We had a little mishap with the weekly menu special, but Kevin the manager honored it with no issues. Very nice customer service. I’m a manager myself and I was impressed by the nice employees there. The food was delicious. Best crabcakes I had in a long time along with the bread pudding. We also enjoyed the young fella singing. He was very good.Nice touch when you sit out on the patio overlooking the harbor. I hope to visit again some day.

We visited here with a party of ten, the service was good, however they gave one of our guest the wrong dish and one of the steaks was under cooked. We ordered the Buffalo strips, mozzarella sticks, fried onions and bacon wrapped shrimp with horseradish (the best appetizer)for appetizers all were good, I ordered the seafood boil which consisted of a one pound lobster, mussels and clams which was very good. I wouldn’t recommend ordering the ribs as they were under cooked a bit. The manager did compensate us for the mishap which was very nice. I recommend you order seafood and nothing else. The staff was very nice and courteous.

Took my mom for lunch on a windy day and was pleasantly surprised by the tomato stuffed with crab salad! Very fresh tasting, and nice one man band entertainment.

Great service and nice view. Food was very disappointing. We paid $14 for glass of wine that would have cost $10 for the whole bottle at the liquor store down the street. The Mac and cheese was microwave quality and the crab cakes were so salty we couldn’t even eat them. It’s sad to say we will not be back. Great view though.

You don’t get any fresher than this place!!! We got all you can eat crab legs for my granddaughter who loves her crab legs they were excellent also had stuffed lobster tail was also excellent best seafood we’ve had in a while can’t wait to go back next year!!! Yummmmmm
We come for the seafood so when I see people complaining about too much lettuce or a toss salad it’s just people that like to complain because we had great service and the seafood was superb!! Definitely didn’t require a sharp knife to pull lobster tail out we just pulled it with our fingers came right on out But that’s what we like we don’t even eat the other stuff it’s all about fresh seafood for my family also my mom is handicap and we had zero issues finding a handicap spot or getting in and out no issues whatsoever

Food was pretty good. The clams casino and fish taco appetizers were great! Prime rib was a little overcooked for our liking. Entrées were room temperature. My daughter devoured the crab legs. It was a bit difficult to get our waitress to refill our drinks, get us a to go box, etc but when she was available she was nice. Beautiful view also.
