I will say that the service was great and the music was fun but this place is a bit old and tired. The food was okay – no major complaints but really more like good adjacent. I did eat it and after a 12 hour drive I’m thankful for food. But, I agree with the majority of the reviews that the tortillas are thick and mine were burned. The guacamole, chips and the queso were the best part of the meal. We ordered 2 beef fajita burritos and 2 bean and cheese burritos with chips and queso and two drinks for $34. About average but I couldn’t drink my drink bc the ice and water smelled like sulfur/ the eggy smell. That was off putting and I could smell it as soon as I poured my drink. That should be looked at for sure. I’ll take it as a way to boost my gut flora. I’m appreciative of the meal but wished it matched the 2500 reviews 4 star rating.

Love this place! Service is always great. They have thick tortillas that are very tasty. We love their salsas, chicken burrito, beef and bean burritos, crunchy beef tacos, green chili and sopapillas. Food is all very mild so be sure to get extra salsa!

One of my favorite quick Mexican food stops. Great food, good prices. I buy frozen tamales here and make them at home too. I always get the chicken burrito. The refried beans with cheese are good as well. My lady always gets their fried fish tacos and says that she really enjoys them. Nice dining area. Would recommend this place for sure.

The lovely woman at the drive thru today made my day. She was the sweetest, most sincerely friendly person and she needs to be told how much she matters! Thank you for being such an awesome human!

Unacceptable, sad excuse for a breakfast burrito. I ordered the bacon and egg breakfast burrito and received a tiny amount of eggs crudely wrapped in crumpled naan bread (I say naan because the “tortilla” is absurdly thick.) No bacon to be found. This was my first and last time going there, they have permanently lost my business. By far the absolute worst breakfast burrito I’ve had in years. Do not recommend

Excellent Mexican food fast, but NOT fast food. The tamales were huge, and very generous portions of meat in the tacos. We also got a large basket of chips, and received this huge bag of fresh made chips. The salsas were also really good. Found the restaurant in a Google maps search, and all those positive reviews are well deserved. Very friendly staff who made some great recommendations.

One of our gotos. Disco was a fan. Service this last visit rather condescending. Came back the next day to far better service. Fajita plate. Chicken burritos. Churro. Yummy.

Margaritas to go sounds like a great idea. We stopped in for breakfast and just weren’t that impressed with the quality of the food. The floors were a bit sticky. It’s one of those of those places that intrigues you enough to go at least once. Their green chili was ok.

Thirty-two years ago, in their previous location, they were my model for the best Mexican restaurant anywhere. It was a traditional sit-down place with many wonderful menu items. Today, post-pandemic and now an order-at-the-counter operation, their food is still wonderful and with as many choices as before. Location is better, with much better access. Ambience is like most fast food establishments, with plentiful seating in an open area. Counter service is fast, although standing in line comes with the operation. If you’re looking for great Mexican food served quickly, this is the place!

My two recent visits in the last 30 days have been consistently disappointing. The food is severely lacking in flavor, scoring a 2/5 on taste alone. Both times, the dishes were bland and uninspired, falling far short of expectations for the price.
The staff was also not welcoming or accommodating. When our order for chips and salsa was wrong, they were unwilling to correct their mistake, leaving us with mild salsa instead of the hot one we requested. This lack of service was frustrating and made for a poor dining experience. The sopapillas were fresh and honestly the best part of our lunch.
To top it off, the restaurant is in desperate need of a major facelift. The dated atmosphere combined with the poor food and service makes it difficult to recommend. Overall, it’s an overpriced and underwhelming spot that I won’t be returning to.
