I had a very disappointing experience here today. Because they were rushing, they completely messed up our order. When we politely pointed out the mistake, the staff’s reaction was incredibly unprofessional—they actually cursed at us. Errors happen, but being met with verbal abuse when asking for what you paid for is unacceptable. I won’t be returning.

Ok, here’s the low down. I have been going to this McDonald’s for a few years now since it is close to where I work and it’s usually the fastest food I can get nearby. The employees at this place are doing their best. Often this location is understaffed and so you need to be patient and grateful there are people there to serve you. I can only theorize, but I assume there is high turnover and it’s understaffed because of whoever is in charge of paying/scheduling the employees. The food is what is expected at any McDonald’s, but I would not go here if you’re in a super big rush and tend to get hangry. Please be kind, but don’t expect to get special attention.

This location has made a huge change lately. I’ve never had a whole lot of complaints (like others) but I’ve noticed the last few times we’ve had to stop here, the staff has been absolutely delightful! I’m a single mom of an autistic child, so things have to be a certain way a lot. If something is missing it’s like the end of the world and she takes things super personal.
This last trip, I asked if they had any of the BTS toys left and the sweet girl told me to wait at the first window and she personally went to make sure they had it for her. We didn’t have to wait long though! She must’ve booted it as fast as she could!
The man at the second window was just as humble and kind, with a big smile on his face.
It’s amazing how those smiles can make a persons day so much brighter! Especially for this exhausted mama.
We now make it a point to stop at this particular McDonald’s. All the way from Gadsden to Calera, Alabama.
Thank you for going so out of your way for us! You’re awesome!

I have done multiple mobile orders and gone through the drive through, and this is the lowest quality McDonalds I personally have been to. Orders taking upwards of 30-40 minutes is already insane, then consistently forgetting parts of the orders and sauces. They have also lied to us and said shake machines are broken as people in front of us receive them. Terrible quality, only reason I go back is hoping they have fixed their problems.

We came with coupons from Homewood Public Library for a free frozen drink. The coupon had this McDonalds listed as an address for a participating location and listed expiration as 12/31/25. The lady working there wouldn’t even listen to us. Said what we had would only work on July 12 when they were having a special event. I showed her where the expiration date was, and she kept telling me that I was wrong. She was very rude and didn’t make any sense. The coupon is meant to be used any day between now and 12/31/25 at a participating location.

Their online hours state that the drive thru is open 24 hours. However, we showed up at 12am, sat at the drive thru speaker for 3 minutes, and the staff then turned off the electronic menu, never speaking a word to us to let us know they were closed. Change your hours online if you are not willing to stay open 24 hours.

I ordered a quarter pounder combo and I was informed that it is not a combo but a meal, my mistake. I ordered to eat in the Restraunt my food was brought to me in a to go sack. The Quarter pounder was cold, therefore not very good though I ate it anyway, the fries were the best part of the meal. All the Restraunt tables were dirty, Absolutely the worst McDonalds i have been in. I will not go back to this particular McDonalds. Desperately needs a good manager.

This was not a very good experience. I placed my order wanting a Vanilla Milkshake. When I got to the window to pay, they informed me they were out and the machine was not working. It happens sometimes. Then I went to the next window to get my Diet Coke to find out they had no ice in the place. I did take the drink, but upon drinking it while riding down the road, it was flat.
Also the fries were cold. It seems like they were understaffed and not properly managed.
