This is the best place in Rapid City! The breaded tenders and tomato soup are phenomenal. I was visiting family and decided to order takeout from Murphy’s Pub — it was so good we came back the very next day. I ended up ordering for the whole family (about 21 meals!), and every single order was perfect. They didn’t miss a beat — every customization and sauce was spot on. Even after a 15-minute drive, everyone was blown away by their meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and did an amazing job. Can’t wait to come back!

I stop at Murphy’s any time I’m in Rapid City, and tonight reminded me exactly why. I found out they’re opening a speakeasy in the basement this December, and I’m already excited to try it. Sounds like the perfect addition to an already great place.
Tonight’s Tuesday special was a 14oz prime rib, and it did not disappoint. The au jus (or dipping juice… whatever the official name is) was amazing. The asparagus was good — just a little thicker than I prefer — and the mashed potatoes were fantastic. The whole meal really hit the spot.
A big shoutout to Tiana, my bartender. Even while she was taking care of the entire bar rail, she still had time to make small talk and help me pick out the perfect meal. As a guy from out of town, that extra bit of friendliness means a lot, and she absolutely delivered.
Murphy’s continues to be on

The overall vibe of this place is great. Very welcoming and definitely has seating and a bar that inspires conversations. I have to give some criticism though, you can’t be an Irish bar and deliver a Guinness that badly poured to a customer. We know it takes time, so take the time. I would definitely come back for the vibe, but not for the Guinness. I heard the food was really good, hopefully will experience it next time.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Murphy’s.
Wonderful server. Many different seating options. Next I’ll try and sit at the Awesome bar or on the patio.

Went for St. Patrick’s Day. The atmosphere and the food was excellent. Had the fish and chips. They were every bit as good as I had in Ireland. The Firehouse doesn’t have the best in town like they claim. They are far superior here! Beer battered to perfection. Enjoyed with a nice tall Guinness. Can’t wait to go back.

Went to Murphy’s Sunday night. Server was great kept us well taken care off. The food tasted fine but in the end gave us food poisoning. Worst food poisoning I’ve ever experienced. My husband and brother-in-law also got food poisoning. We were the ones that ordered burgers and mine was well done. I’m also pregnant so this event put me in urgent care to make sure my baby was alright and they put me on IVs. I have missed work because of this and I still am sick. To add it put another member of our party in the ER. We were sick for a week. Never will I go here again.

Great restaurant with delicious food. My hotel gave me a free appetizer so I decided to check it out. The fancy pickles were delicious and my meatloaf dinner was even better. My bartender(Andrea?) was awesome and we chatted it up about life. Definitely check this place out if you’re in RC.

Loved this place so much, we dined 2 days in a row. The asparagus was one of my favorites. We split the mac and cheese with pulled pork as an app and pictured is my chicken wrap, sweet fries, and said asparagus. Service was quick and super friendly
