Had two box combos delivered to our hotel. Staff made our orders incorrectly and only put three tenders in both orders. Forgot the coleslaw on one order. Under cooked the fries significantly. And to top it off we couldn’t even wash the disappointment down because they also forgot our drinks. Called to let the staff know and all they could offer was the missing slaw provided we came in and showed proof.

Raising Cane’s in Waldorf, Maryland serves up classic chicken tender meals, with the option to switch things up with a sandwich. The service was impressively fast, and the lemonade was easily one of the highlights—super refreshing.

The food itself is decent, but not necessarily something I’d rave about. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for a quick bite while on the go. What really sets it apart is the Cane’s sauce—without it, the tenders come off pretty plain.

The location is convenient with plenty of parking, and the two-lane drive-thru makes the experience smooth and efficient. Overall, I had a great visit, and I’d definitely stop by again next time I’m craving some chicken tenders.

I waited until all the hype calmed down from the grand opening here. I remember seeing how long the lines were. Finally stopped to get some, and to be honest, it’s decent. The seasoning of the tenders were good but the fries were a little more saltier than other fast food places. The Texas toast was also dry. The dipping sauce was also pretty decent. All in all for me personally it’s a 3 out of 5 but the wait in the drive thru wasn’t too long either. You might need more than 3 tenders to feel satisfied though. I was still a little hungry. I would try it again just on a random day.

UPDATE: June/2025

We are big fans of the Cane’s in Provo. So we were excited when this Cane’s came to town. But we were so disappointed when they first opened, and we didn’t go back until last week.

Update is, it was *so* good! The tenders were nice and big and HOT! The fries were plentiful and the bread was still delicious. The sauce was full (instead of the tablespoon we got last time).

We will go back!

I’m not sure if it’s a novelty because it’s new and everyone wants to try it or if they really get repeat customers? I don’t see myself as a repeat customer. Here’s why: for $12.07 I got 4 tenders, fries, coleslaw, a piece of bread (which was the best thing of the whole meal) and a very small cup of sauce. Chicken tenders were on the small side and lacked any flavor at all without dipping them in their special sauce. And while the sauce is okay, you only get about 2 tablespoons and if you need more it’s like $0.39 for more?? The fries were tasteless, absolutely tasteless and there isn’t enough sauce to dip them. The coleslaw was meh. The bread was fabulous (but not $12 fabulous). There was very polite employee who called me “honey”, which didn’t bother me, the young man who called out when your order was ready was the friendliest and only employee who I saw hustling and smiling. Wish I would have gotten his name. The cashier looked like she wasn’t so happy to be there…

I gave a 2, which was stretch.

I visited this establishment for the first time because my kids insisted that the food is delicious. I’m not a fan of fast food, but I can say that I really liked the flavor of the chicken fingers. The place looked clean and was super cool for young people. The staff was very friendly and quick despite the high demand they had.

The line was long inside but it moves fast, they have an app and suggest ordering online which seems to be the way to go! It didn’t take long to receive my food once I moved from paid to waiting. The tenders were moist and juicy and the crunchy outside made it perfect with a splash of canes sauce. Not a big fan of the shoestring meets crinkle cut fries but they were okay just skinny! All in all good value for a decent meal and the tenders were very good!

First time coming here, and I’m impressed. While having a very simple menu, the food here is excellent. Tastes great, and comes out in a VERY quick amount of time. Friendly staff here also make you feel welcome. The entire restaurant and the restrooms are also very clean, showing that this place has good upkeep.

Overall, I have no complaints and will be back soon!
