It was such an appreciable dinner tonight! We had Paneer Methi Malai (if I’m naming it right) with garlic naans, lassi, and mojito — everything was absolutely delicious. The food was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and we felt so welcomed, even though it was almost closing time. I’ve honestly never felt so warmly greeted or tasted food this good, not even when we visited last time. They’ve completely transformed the place — and it shows!
Special thanks to the lovely lady who served us — her kindness and cheerful attitude made the evening even better.

I recently visited this Indian restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavours, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and perfectly cooked.
What really stood out was the staff — they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The service was quick and professional, and they were always happy to help with recommendations.

We order vadapav, and it was a big disappointment. I could see the vada itself was made out of dosa filling and the vada pav as served with coconut chutney… wo serves vadapav with coconut chitney ??? When I complained about ot to the staff, she said she nevef had vadapav in life so she doesnt know ..

We were coming back from Bribie Island to go back home to brisbane. We stopped at this unassuming indian restaurant with not very high expectations. I ordered the tandoori chicken and it was truly amazing. I have never tasted any tandoori chicken this good in my life. The service was also excellent, and the food came quickly. The prices are very reasonable and the quantity is very generous.

I ordered noodles from this restaurant and the quality was extremely poor. The dish was soaked in oil and honestly felt like it had been cooked in old, heavily reused (dirty) oil. There was a strong bitter and unpleasant smell as soon as I opened the container, and after just one bite the taste was horrible and made me feel nauseous.This is not the level of hygiene or food quality I would expect from a restaurant, and I was unable to finish the meal. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves its cooking standards.

I ordered uber eats for this place, just now.
While myself and my child are caucasian. I asked for medium spice. We received extra spicy for our dish. Which, is fine by me. My child loves spicy, but even she thought it was super spicy for her. So, she was left with not even eating the sauce. Plain basmati and naan. The naan was very nice for delivery.
Could be my fault, for ordering medium. I understand we live in a country full of indian immigrants. Perhaps, they made it like how their country likes it. And rightfully so. I can’t imagine not having nostalgia for my home country.
Rating 4 star, because it was too spicy for us. But, the taste for the Chicken Methi Malai, was super nice. Can’t fault it, except for the spice. Recommend if you love mild or spicy.

Perhaps the restaurant could be better if the staff paid attention to service. But instead of focusing on service, the staff is focused on collecting money.We go there and wait for half an hour to eat but still the food is not served on time and the service is absolutely bad and the enjoyment of eating the food becomes zero.If any of our relatives goes with us, we are insulted separately in front of him.Along with the food, the service needs to be excellent. Only then will a restaurant do well. I don’t think Indian Movement Restaurant is good.
