Beautiful venue. Food and service were fair. The view of the pool and mountains was spectacular.

I ordered the Korean Cole slaw…. Excellent presentation. Beef slices were tough. Also ordered a burger. Be careful here… The sauce was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. Took over 30 min to get another (cold ) burger. I really wanted to at least like the food because the venue is so beautiful and so convenient.
The restaurant received a “did not meet standards” rating from local health authorities.

Good food, but you might wait for it and get slow service.
I came here during lunch and they were obviously understaffed, I think they had one or two servers but they needed three or four.
Food was A+ quality but it took 25 minutes since ordering to arrive so either their kitchen is too small or they’re understaffed there as well.
Waitress was forgetting things and we cashed ourselves out because waited for check for too long it took 1.25 hours for lunch and we were planning on 45 minutes.
I was here during a conference when the hotel was pretty full but the restaurant could staff more when they know this.

The dining was below average.
It is amazing to me that there is only one (1) very basic dining room with essentially a room service menu selection.
We ate there twice, and were disappointed both times.
Hamburger was plain, overcooked and dry.
2 Chicken tacos were skimpy, not much flavor.
French fries were also below average.
Grilled Cheese had thick bread and very little cheese.
The 2 pizzas were sub-par, not much cheese. I would rather have Papa John’s, Dominios, or Little Cesars.
The service was horrible. Hostess was clueless. It took 10-20 minutes just to get seated, and we could all see that 70% of the tables were empty. Then it took 15-20 minutes to order, and another 20+ minutes to get food.
No one we talked to at the convention had anything good to say about the restaurant or the service.

If you are staying at the Renaissance and don’t want to walk to breakfast, this is the spot. They have a buffet which includes a made-yp-order omelette bar. They also have a menu to order off if you want pancakes or something else for breakfast. Located in the direction of the meeting rooms.
