We came to Yogurstory on a Friday at 9:30am after my bf had recommended from years ago. It was quick with their wait list; joined 10 minutes before and only waited a few minutes.

The parking lot was packed, but we found metered parking on the street. The restaurant has ample seating, so they’re able to seat a lot at one time.

We ordered the croissant sandwich with fries, short rib loco moco, crab cake benedict, pork belly benedict, and split the ube pancakes for the table.

We’ve eaten at a lot of brunch and lunch around Honolulu, and Yogurstory was by far our favorite! A short rib benedict on the mainland would easily cost $30-40, so $25 and taking leftovers was incredible; AND the quality is unmatched.

Service was attentive and friendly, and the food is well worth any wait. The pancakes are SO fluffy, and the short rib loco moco was our favorite – sooo tender.

For 4 people, at around $20 per brunch entree, it is totally worth it. Amazing flavor, and we took home leftovers. CanNOT recommend Yogurstory enough – a must-go on any Honolulu stay.

Ordered the Kalbi & eggs, my family ordered the ube waffle, aloha French toast, and kimchi omurice.
The wait was a little long but worth it for the amazing food and service. We would definitely come again

This is a popular breakfast spot in Honolulu known for their ube pancakes. We wanted to get there upon opening on Wednesday morning and we got there before 8am and there was luckily no wait, they have a small parking lot with handicap parking and we got seated immediately, service was great. My parents got coffee and I got a white chocolate macadamia nut latte, it was a little too sweet for me; I probably should have gotten just a macademia nut latte. I also got to get it in a to go cup since I didn’t finish it. Me and my mom shared the ube pancakes and a side of bacon. My dad got the Oinker- Portuguese sausage with their house fried rice, and 2 eggs any style, my dad got it over easy. They also sell wine and champagne for mimosas. The breakfasts were very filling, the pancakes were really good and not too sweet, mochi like and were good as leftovers too! Service was great and we were in and out of there, both locals and tourists come to this spot, can be busy at times but definitely worth a visit while visiting Honolulu.

Kanyada was amazing—super friendly and full of great recommendations. I followed her suggestion and ordered the Pork Belly Oinker, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions are huge, easily enough for two. Next time I want to try the prime rib loco moco and upgrade it with kimchi fried rice; the way she described it sounded sooooo good!

Lots of delicious choices on the menu! Twas my first time here but if I was in Oahu longer I’d definitely return to try other things on the menu. Everything was flavorful to both the people and the camera. Portions were larger than they looked on yelp photos. Service was quick, attentive, and excellent. The interior was clean and spacious (my friend who came here a couple years ago feels they just renovated).
Pro tip: I got the tuxedo mocha & opted for a refill of black coffee.

Google maps needs to add few extra stars for Yogur story. Food, Service, Ambiance: Excellent in all respects. Totally understood why there is a huge waiting for this restaurant. If you are in Oahu, Honolulu do not miss out on Yogur story.
We had the Ube Pancake, Grilled chicken, Crab cake eggs Benedict, Oinker, Kimchi fried rice Taro latte was spot on refreshing, Espresso martini was okay. Yogur story…you were the best thing happened to us.
Plenty of parking but a shared one with the rest of the restaurants.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

The food is amazing — easily the best breakfast on the island. The Eggs Benedict were outstanding, honestly the best I’ve ever had.

The service was polite, kind, and very helpful, which made the experience even better.

The place itself is a bit old and could use some refreshing and updated decorations to make it feel more cozy, but this doesn’t take away from the quality of the food and service.

It’s highly recommended to make a reservation through Google, as the waiting time can sometimes be over 1 to 1.5 hours.

The food is really good! We waited over 30 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. The beef steak was very tasty and perfectly cooked, and the ube French toast was absolutely delicious. The staff were nice as well.

A local referred me to this spot. Went on a Friday at 12:30pm. Few people waiting ahead. Put my name on waiting list and was called right away. Ordered the prime rib loco moco and it was worth every penny. It was a good sized portion; tender, cooked to perfection (medium rare), and tasty. There were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try. I can see why it’s a locals favorite.

Edit: Came back the next day. Arrived at 10:50 and put my name on waiting list, advised that it could be an hour wait (which it was). Ordered the prime rib skillet and the Aloha Ube French toast. This place is hands down one of the best values for food. Not only is the food awesome, the portions were generous. They did not skimp on the meat in the skillet and look at that French toast plate (I’m a pretty big eater and was fighting to finish the French toast). Bookmark this spot! You won’t be disappointed.

If you love Ube this is the place to go. Fun and flavorful ube dishes with lots of purple color and a great price. The line can be a little long, so I recommend grabbing a spot on line with yelp. Definitely recommend getting the Ube pancakes at least one time if you are in Honolulu.
