I see all the comments on how great the food is however we must’ve come at an off night. I ordered a jumbo lime margarita on the rocks and got and whatbI assume was an orange one. Tried to order a proper one and the waitress acknowledged my order however never brought one. I also ordered the burrito supreme which the description is an extra large burrito but as you can tell by the picture it seems like a regular burrito to me with almost NO flavor at least not what I’ve experienced at other Mexican restaurants. My wife ordered enchilada supreme and it was all combined into a not very appealing pile. This place in my opinion is a definite pass! The ambiance was awesome regular Mexican restaurant with no upbeat atmosphere.

Food wasn’t anything like it used to be. The water to wash your hands in the bathroom only cold, freezing cold. The atmosphere drab. The salsa not good. I got a chile rellano and burrito it was a sad experience for $20, and I did leave a tip because it’s polite. I am extremely disappointed. They used to be my favorite. I won’t go back again. Sorry it went downhill so bad

Absolutely delicious food with great service. One of the original Mexican restaurants in Roanoke and still one of the best! Their margaritas really pack a punch and they run regular specials. I love coming here and will remain a regular when I’m in town. I’ve never had a bad dish here. I especially love their enchiladas and carne asada.

This restaurant is my top fave because the staff is always nice plus their Arroz Con Pollo to me has the best taste. The small lime and strawberry margaritas are great. You can get them frozen or on the rocks. After lunch the staff brought me a sombrero to wear and sang Happy Birthday to me and gave me a complimentary shot of tequila. Thank you again!

Ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla for delivery. My meal was excellent. It is huge and definitely plenty for the money.
My only aught is I requested utensils and was not included. Other than that, it was absolutely delicious!

My picture shows it fully loaded with the extras. I thought about taking a picture before I took the first bite! It Yummy!

Step into an authentic 1978 harvest gold Naugahyde upholstery and wood paneling time capsule. Our server was, happily, more current and attentive. Wait time for our meal was just about one basketful of chips and salsa. Portions were generous and the crisp edges of my chimichanga were a nice contrast to the cool guacamole included with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream. Only two other parties were seated across the dining room from our table. Everyone else was home watching Charley’s Angels.

I arrived at 11:00, at opening, for lunch. When I was greeted and seated by my server..she asked me if I wanted the the buffet or off the menu. I glanced at the buffet, not everything was out yet. I’m taking the buffet! My first visit was great. At my second trip, way more hot, fresh food had come out and I was the only person there for the buffet! The fried plantains were amazing! Not busy right at opening, staff is friendly and attentive. Bathrooms are older but clean. $9.ish for the buffet and I drank water. If I wasn’t travelling , I would’ve tried a drink special!! Great little place, see pics

The food was pretty good here, compliments to the chef. I wasn’t thrilled that I was charged full price for happy hour special drinks because my party stayed past the “happy hour time”. If you want to take advantage of those drink specials, check out and leave before 8pm.
