$10 for a paper thin burger with no sides is a bit expensive if not insulting. The cheese is flavorful but it hides the fact that you are getting less meat than a McDonald’s burger. I expected more for my money from a food truck. There are much better choices in midtown for burgers.

Disco Burger was insanely good. Juicy, well seasoned meat with perfectly melted cheese and a bun that holds up. The crinkle cut fries were perfect, crispy on the outside and soft inside. You can grab drinks here too and they even let us bring our dog. It is in a nice spot and easy to hang out and enjoy. Simple menu but everything is done right.

Great food and an even better atmosphere. You can order ahead for slightly quicker service, but even with walk-in orders, we waited less than 10 minutes. Disco Burger truly knocks it out of the park.

The burger was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right. The patty melt was next-level: crispy, buttery bread, gooey cheese, and a rich, savory flavor that hit every note. And the fries? Golden, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning.

They keep the menu tight and focused, and it shows—they’ve absolutely mastered what they serve. You can tell there’s real care and pride in every bite. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Disco too many times to count – each time I’m pretty stoked because they do this thing well. Quality burgers, fries, and the big win for me is the vegan option (THANK YOU). Big love for Disco and Varsity Club. The one-two punch of these two establishments right there together is a gem for Kansas City. The perfect place to hang for a while.

Got the double burger with a couple modifications & single burger à la carte – both were delicious and perfectly cooked smash burgers. Crinkle cut fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We ordered cocktails from the varsity club and enjoyed the food and drinks in the heated patio in February. Great experience!

The burgers are a smash-burger style and absolutely fantastic! They’re well seasoned, rich in flavor, and the disco sauce is amazing! The fries were crinkle cut with a slight crisp, not soggy, and perfect. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, and if not, make the trip!

Probably the best smash burger I’ve ever had. I love that you can easily order online via a QR code on the menu. The fries are perfectly crispy and salted. I’m normally not a fan of crinkle cut fries but these are the exception! I’ve recommended disco burger to all of my friends and coworkers and I have not heard one complaint from them! Sooooo tasty!

Beautiful spot tucked away at the River-market! The burgers are good and so are the fries. Portion sizes a bit underwhelming but definitely try this place out if you are a fan of smash burgers!

This place is great, some of the best fries I’ve ever had and great burgers too. Love the environment it’s in and how easy it is to order. Highly recommend if you need a quick bite or want to stay and eat with a drink.

Attended a conference in Kansas & wanted a good burger. Googled & this place popped up. We got confused trying to find it. This burger truck is located in the back of the building. It seems to be a popular place. You can eat outside or inside the bar. I ordered the patty melt & a side of fries. My meal was $14.95. The burger was an ok size for me. If it was my husband, he would have been disappointed at the size. The burger was good, not only seasoned. There is something spicy on it I wasn’t made aware of, nor is it indicated on the menu. My only other issue with the food was that my bread was hard around the edges. It’s not really a big, tho. The fries were hot, crispy, & lightly salted. However, it was a bit of a wait. Maybe 20-30 mins… which I felt was kinda long for a burger & not worth the long wait. Not saying it wasn’t good, just not 30 mins wait…good
