Older establishment, but clean and neat. Staff are friendly. Food is pretty good. We had the sisig and binagoongan. The portions for the 2-item combo were enough to make us full. This place has been here for as long as I can remember, which says a lot. It outlasted the Goldilocks that used to be here in Vallejo. I’m glad this place is still around. It has very good Filipino food.

As far as Filipino food in town, I’ve always liked this place. I’ve only experienced consistently decent food. My favorite is the dinuguan.

Tried Andrea’s in Vallejo and was seriously impressed. The food was so good—authentic, flavorful, and made with care. The sisig was one of the best I’ve had: crispy, savory, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The pork lechon was also a standout—super crispy skin, juicy tender meat, and packed with flavor.
Portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. You can tell this place takes pride in serving up real Filipino comfort food done right.
Definitely coming back. If you’re in the area and craving legit Filipino food, Andrea’s is a must. 5/5 stars

Great neighborhood Filipino karinderia restaurant in Vallejo. The place is turo-turo style and cater foods including lechon. The place is basic not much ambience (no decoration). Food is great, lot of varieties to go with rice. Snacks or merienda food consists not only of pansit/noodles, rice cakes, bananaque. You will fine food here not usually serve in other places

Andreas has been a Bay Area staple since the 90s, impressively satisfying all three generations of my family. The humble storefront exudes the nostalgia of a mom-and-pop shop. Despite its modest appearance, I’ve always trusted Andreas to cater our family events, including my wedding. Every visit feels like a delicious journey back to my roots.

I always crave beef mechado and dinuguan so I come here to get my fix. It’s a family business so it feels like I’m going to my Auntie’s house to eat. Authentic Filipino “turo turo” style restaurant. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is authentic. I’ve been here a hand full of times and the experience has been consistent.

I paid $20 at Andrea’s Filipino restaurant for a Large Kare kare and only had 1 piece of meat when I asked if there was any meat in there at all!!??? I will never buy anything from there again. So, I don’t recommend this place. Philhouse gives you a lot of food.

Off a side street and in the back means hole in the wall applies. The building is from the sixties and it shows. Once you are inside and catch sight of the hot table filled to the brim with yum all apprehension should evaporate. This place is delicious! I had chicken and ginger soup. The stock was well seasoned and the bite of ginger was strong. There were huge chunks of shredded, boiled ginger root floating in it. I personally chewed some pieces at the end of my meal and the flavor was amazing. The whole chicken is cut and boiled so be prepared if you don’t like marrow. Yippy can’t escape it. Just how I like it. Sweet staff. Let us others go ahead of you don’t know what you want. There can be a rush after church on Sunday’s. Classic Vallejo!
