It was pretty simple. I walked in picked out my king cake, made my purchase and walked out. I got home, tried a piece and it was delicious!! The cream cheese frosting was so light and airy. The cake was delicious as well! Light and airy cake. The price was reasonable. The king cake was sweet but not over bearing!! It was great!!

Love their coffees and baked goods. Not impressed with my $11 Italian sandwich though. It was small, on the wrong bread and underwhelming overall. Because it isn’t as described, I don’t recommend it.

We’ve been wanting to try this place since we moved here a few months ago. I love pastries, and I’m pretty picky about them. We had a great time! They were quick and efficient with our order. I chose the chicken salad sandwich mainly because it came on a croissant, and I was not disappointed, it was marvelous. I also tried the almond croissant and sticky bun. So fresh and so good! We’ll definitely be back.

This would be my first visit to Loblolly bakery. I visited for one thing and one thing only… the king cake! Upon arrival, the parking lot is kind wonky to get in and out of.

The king cakes are simply put on the rack as a grab and go type situation. Also, you sorta have to handle the product to find the flavors.

All that said, the king cake? Holy smokes are they good. Ended up purchasing four of them. I don’t Robert St. John makes anything without intent or purpose. This man knows what he’s doing!

I went to the bakery for the first time on Monday. I saw a Facebook review about how delicious the wedding cake was. I waited 10 minutes to receive my cake slice. When leaving, I opened my box and I was not satisfied as a first time customer. I went back into the bakery and asked for another slice of cake. I was advised that was the last piece of cake. The cashier said she didn’t see anything wrong with it. I asked for a refund and I asked for a manager. He stated things happen and he would speak to the staff. As I began to walk off, the cake was slung in the trash where I could see it. Before making this review, I did reach out to the owner and never got a response. I did go to Jody’s Bakery to receive a wedding cake. The service and cake was top tier.

Truly a full blown bakery from various fresh cookie, different types bread loafs, various croissants, French baguette bread along cakes and coffee. They also have a great selection of freshly prepared soups, gumbo and main dishes like lasagna to take home for you or the family. Tables are available for you to enjoy a fresh pastry.

Y’all I got their strawberry and cream croissant today and it was amazing. Better than I even expected. Also I got their homemade oatmeal pies today as well; sweet sweet but very good flavor. Happy to have a bakery like this in town.

Driving down Hardy St is always a challenge but worth the trip to this bakery. Parking is very limited but there is a side street that could accommodate; a few businesses that don’t open until later may be available if you go very early. There is a drive thru.
They have warm breakfast biscuits, filled croissants and crust less mini quiche. Tasty breads and bagels- all can be sliced. Cheese danishes. Frosted cinnamon rolls. Cookies. Granola. Delicious coffees and teas; both hot and cold.
You can watch inside the bakery as they make all of their wonderful offerings. There is a nice little area to sit and relax and drink your selections. Always friendly and helpful service.

This bakery has the best chocolate almond croissants! There as a lovely selection of fresh pastries, breads, and a well-stocked cooler of ready made meal options. I picked up a “Deep South Praline” king cake for my ladies’ Bible Study group that is sure to cause us all to swoon with delight! Definitely worth the stop if you’re in Hattiesburg.

Oh my, what a find. I was looking for a delightful breakfast to go along with my morning coffee. We happened to see it driving by and are so glad we stopped. The bakery is in full view, and although there is ample seating, the star is the bakery operations. We had the biscuits both with egg and just bacon. They were phenomenal. The pastry was good, but the dough was not super flaky. It’s worth a stop for sure. Note: Parking in the front is limited, and the spots are tight.
