I had a great experience at Kaya’s Island Restaurant. The Bang Bang Fish was my favorite, crispy and full of flavor. The Jamaican jerk wings with goat cheese were absolute heaven with the perfect balance of spice and creaminess.
My entrée was the macadamia coconut catch with tuna. It was cooked well but a little bland for my taste. I also had the white wine island sangria, which was refreshing and paired nicely with the food.
I’m giving 4 stars because the appetizers and entrées came out at the same time. I would have preferred to enjoy them separately, but overall I’d definitely go back.

Great restaurant. Food was very very tasty. My husband and I started walking around /near Duval Street, found this place first but keep walking another 40 minutes and decided to come back to Kaya Island Eats because the menu looked like items we would like plus the prices were more in our budget. I had Yingling beer on tap for $7 which was very good. The shrimp taco’s were top notch and my husband really enjoyed his “beach burger”. And to top it all off, even though we were stuffed, we had the key lime pie and we were soooo glad we did. It was the best key lime pie we have ever had! Seriously. And the service was fast and friendly.

We stopped in for lunch during our Key West port day. My husband and I both loved our drinks — he had a beer and I ordered a mai tai that came in the cutest tiki glass. We were even given free Mai tai samples which immediately sold me, it was so good!
We shared the conch fritters for an appetizer and then had the fish tacos for our meals. Everything was absolutely delicious. Rodney was a fantastic server and made the whole experience even better. If we’re ever back in Key West, we will definitely be returning!

We visited Kaya Island Eats twice during our stay in the Florida Keys and were not disappointed either time. The food was incredibly fresh, served hot, and absolutely delicious. You can really tell they put care into every dish. The service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better.
We also tried their cocktails and wow— the Mai Tai was great and the Mojito was downright stellar. Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and exactly what you want in a tropical setting.
The whole place has those laid-back island vibes that make you want to relax and stay awhile—exactly what we were looking for. If you’re in the area, definitely put this spot on your list. We’ll be back next time for sure!

What an incredible experience at Kaya Island Eats! After a great day on our fishing charter, they turned our fresh-caught fish into an absolute feast. Each dish was prepared in a different and elegant way—beautifully presented, creative, and insanely delicious. It felt like a custom tasting menu made just for us.
On top of the amazing food, the owner Scott took such great care of us and made the whole experience feel warm, relaxed, and special. If you’re looking for a place that delivers incredible flavors, thoughtful service, and an unforgettable way to enjoy your catch, Kaya Island Eats is the spot. Can’t recommend it enough! ️

Would give 10 stars if I could this place is incredible. We got the Jamaican jerk chicken and Hawaiian kahula pork, which were both perfect. Note, they do come with lots of cilantro which we love but not everyone does, just request it removed. Service was fast and friendly and atmosphere was perfectly island in the outside seating area. Their key lime pie was to die for too, best we’ve had in the keys so far.

Recently visited Key West and had to try Kaya. Perhaps the best fish tacos I have ever had anywhere. We had the blacked mahi-mahi fish tacos with the most lovely cilantro, Keylime sauce. They also have an extremely delicious Keylime pie that is made fresh daily. Service is was also very friendly.

This place is an absolute gem. We went on a fishing charter and our ship’s mate recommended we bring our catch here to be prepared. BRING YOUR FRESH CAUGHT FISH HERE!!. The chef is amazing. It was prepared as a three course meal. I have never had a more enjoyable fish feast. Five stars isn’t even enough! There was a table side magician (I usually don’t enjoy this) HE WAS REALLY REALLY GOOD. We were stunned. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy him as well.

Off the chain! This restaurant will prepare your fresh caught fish in 3 courses. We brought our snapper filets and they do the rest!! Colby provided efficient and friendly service. It was great to see and experience the pride this staff has in their food.

The food was delicious. I read on a previous review about the spices and that reviewer was dead on. The seasoning and the flavors were a hit with my family. Everyone continued mentioning our meal here. I had the tofu and my family members both got tacos (korean bbq and shrimp). The sauces were awesome. The servers was super friendly and were super cool when helping my kids order.
