Absolutely loved our dining experience here! The food was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented — you can really taste the authenticity in every dish.

We ordered the pho, a vermicelli bowl with crispy spring rolls, and the Iberico pork — and WOW, the Iberico pork was the star of the night. It was perfectly grilled, incredibly tender, and packed with smoky, savoury flavour. Paired with the fresh herbs and greens, every bite was so satisfying and well-balanced.

The pho broth was light yet flavourful, comforting without being too heavy. The vermicelli bowl was equally impressive — crispy spring rolls, crunchy peanuts, pickled vegetables, and fragrant herbs all coming together perfectly.

Great portion sizes, fresh ingredients, and a cosy atmosphere that makes it perfect for a casual meal with friends. Service was friendly and efficient too.

Will definitely be back again for that Iberico pork! Highly recommend if you’re craving quality Vietnamese food in Singapore. ✨

The meat platter is a must order. The beef pho and dry vermicelli is great too. We also enjoyed the fresh and fried spring rolls! Will be back again! Grateful that they gave us a bigger table too

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-Star Experience at Làng Nướng 1980

Had a wonderful dinner at Làng Nướng 1980 along Hamilton Road, and it was an experience that went well beyond just “good food”.

While their page describes them as Singapore’s first authentic Vietnamese BBQ & hotpot restaurant, what truly stood out to me was the thought and heart behind everything. You can feel that the cuisine is carefully crafted by Lady Boss Phoebe—the beef noodle soup was clean, comforting, and deeply flavourful, while the pork neck BBQ was perfectly grilled: smoky, juicy, and full of character.

The interior deserves special mention too. The warm, nostalgic décor clearly reflects Boss Dezmond’s creative vision—from the lighting to the artwork, it genuinely feels like dining in a cosy, family-run restaurant somewhere in Vietnam, not just another themed eatery.

This is a place where food, space, and intention come together. Relaxed, honest, and quietly confident. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Highly recommended for friends, families, and anyone who appreciates Vietnamese cuisine done with care and soul. ✨

Big cravings for pho and cold coffee. Saw rave reviews and High ratings on Google so why not give it a try. I didnt touch the beef pho anymore maybe it’s my personal preference. Beef was dry, hard. Rice noodle make the broth very noodlish taste. Broth i add alot of seasoning otherwise blend. Coffee was dilute and mild so if you like mild and blend food, over cooked beef and drink then you will like this place. But I cant wrap my head around why ratings so high with so many reviews. Maybe something wrong with my taste buds today.

We came back to this restaurant again today, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! We ordered our go-to BBQ Pork and Prawn set, which never disappoints, and also tried the Pork Ribs and Beef Pho —both were absolutely delicious.

The kid absolutely love the BBQ here, and there are so many great options to choose from. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to try their hotpot!

This Vietnamese restaurant is really a gem near our office. The restaurant offers a full selection of the popular Vietnamese dishes including Pho, bun Bo hue, bun cha, and com (rice) dishes. Place seats very comfortable and server was Vietnamese…. They made exceptions for me mixing the Beef Pho with the bun Bo hue broth which I really love!! It’s spicy and taste delicious for me!! The other dishes offer authentic ingredients as well especially since just visiting vietnam for a month not too long ago…. Will come back for sure!!!

Had a great meal at this Vietnamese restaurant. The butter snails were rich, fragrant, and very satisfying, while the grilled beef was juicy and flavorful, paired nicely with fresh herbs. The fresh spring rolls were light and refreshing with a tasty dipping sauce.

Service was excellent as well — special thanks to Keela, who was friendly, attentive, and made the dining experience even better. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a loooooong time, ever since they were at the Foch Road outlet – so finally for my birthday I requested to come here. I think the previous outlet is more fun! I remember a grill and also the shorter metal tables, more fun imo.

but the food is good! The order system somehow missed my orders but all good managed to rectify it. happy to have a slice of Vietnam here in SG. Wished there was Ban xeoh tho – haha request from a typical Sgporean.

keep it up!

The place has a nostalgic feel.. like Vietnam in the 1980s .. Like is name, the food gave an authentic Vietnamese taste. Not a big fan of the raw leaves but this place provided leaves that are matchy with the food. We ordered the Chicken pho, the prawn rice roll and the bbq pork and prawn. Waited a while for the food as the service is slightly slow due to low manpower. The chicken pho is nice and sweet. The vegetables in the rice roll is crunchy and the rice paper holds the vegetables together nicely. The BBQ pork and prawn is also nice as the pork does not have any gamey smell!!
Overall good dining experience.
