Surprise discovery in East Nashville and I am obsessed! They also have a location in West, but I have not been there. Their pastries are delicious and their employees are so great. They do seasonal/monthly special creations that switches up the menu and gives more items to try. Recommend ordering ahead because they sell out quickly. Will continue to shop here!

With the 5.0 star rating and several hundred reviews, I was a little suspicious but had to see if it was worth the hype bc I love to find a new great pastry spot. And this is it! It’s a bit out of the way and their hours are so limited but I finally made it out and made sure to preorder the day before in case anything sold out before I got there. Plenty of preorders prepped by the time the store opened, I think, and plenty of pastries were available around 9? When we arrived. Very small place & the only downside was that there wasn’t anywhere to really sit down and enjoy indoors, on a cool morning like today.
All that being said, we tried just about everything on the menu for today and everything was delicious. The everything tart honestly blew me away. The brioches were so soft, melt in your mouth, as they should be. fun and interesting flavors also. Croissants were great, puff pastry was awesome. Didn’t LOVE the caramel pecan monkey bread though and was really looking forward to it- was quite dense compared to everything else which was light, airy, fluffy.

Literally the best chocolate croissant I have ever had in the US—and I’m comparing to even places like NYC, SF, etc.. It’s nice and flakey and really like the touch of salt they put on top to add flavor. However, there was one time around 2022 when we ordered a box of assorted pastries and it was terrible for some reason—seemed like we got prior day’s batch rather than that day. Took me a while to want to try it and decided to since it’s very close to my house, and it was very good. Seemed like that one occurrence in 2022 was just a glitch in the matrix.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the food at Brightside.. both the sweet and the savories! This is my go-to spot for a “treat” for myself, whenever I have out of town guests coming in, or for someone that needs a little pick me up. Everyone I’ve introduced to Brightside goods absolutely loves them as much as I do. Also, the service is definitely top notch! I use the order ahead option quite a bit which makes it super convenient to just swing by and do a quick pick up and go. Highly recommend!

The two ladies who greeted and served us were SO welcoming and engaging. All smiles. So perfectly represented the Brightside vibe and brand, ushering in the first half of the positive Customer Experience. The second half was eating our wonderful bakery items! My wife got her standard go-to Croissant. Absolutely wonderful, as always she said. I got the Key Lime Pie Croissant Tart. If I’d just sat there and looked at it I’d have gotten my money’s worth, but to taste that flavorful treat… Oh. My. Goodness! Unbelievable! Absolute heaven. Worth every single calorie. Brightside sets and extremely high bar in every way. Every experience has been a wonderful one!

The most delicious pastries I have ever eaten hands down. Part of the menu always stays the same and then they have seasonal specials as well. I always like to try whatever is new and exciting. You really can’t go wrong with anything they have. Get there when they open on the weekend for the best selection. You can also pre-order for pickup on the website.

Always a stop when visiting Nashville, and this time we went Saturday and Sunday! Over the 2 days we had the Cinnaroll , Bread Pudding Cinnaroll, Espresso Martini Puff Pastry, Margarita Pizza Croissant, Strawberry Cheesecake Danish, and my favorite Oatmeal Cream Pie Croissant! Best pastries!

I’m shocked this place only has 62 reviews. It deserves way more attention because it’s some of the best pastries in Nashville, if not THE best. I live within walking distance and have come here so many times for a sweet or savory breakfast treat. Everything is just superb. The menu is small but any choice is a good one. The crossiants are my favorite. I usually get a savory one with ham and/or cheese and a sweet one with chocolate or almonds. My only point of criticism is I wish the atmosphere of the place was a little more homey – the plain and mostly white decor feels unmoved in. But that’s such a minor point when everything is this delicious.
