The lapu-lapu had a fishy smell. The pork barbecue was good. But even the sea had a similar odor, giving the place a “once is enough” kind of atmosphere.

This place is what it is…a restaurant in the bay over the water. Nothing too fancy, however the prices are that of a fancier place. Food is good but you get the feeling it’s geared toward tourists and not the locals. Fish and lobster dishes were heavy on the vegetables and light on the fish and lobster. I remember this restaurant during 2002-2008. It is now a shell of itself in every respect. After ordering the lobster, I was told by the waiter that they only accept cash. I questioned that policy and the waiter amended it by claiming that the credit card machine sometimes doesn’t work so staff informs patrons they may require cash payment. Hmmm…sounds more like they want to make sure they’re going to get paid. The decor is a bit worn and needs updating. The food is tasty and mirrors the pictures in the menu. I wouldn’t recommend this place for everyone but if you want a meal over the ocean and you don’t mind paying for it, check out Harbor View. A better ambience is to be enjoyed during the evening hours as the sun is setting.

The seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful! All seafood was cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of seasoning and tenderness. all was equally impressive, offering a delicious combination of textures and tastes.

I also appreciated the variety of options on the menu, catering to all preferences. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was top-notch. Additionally, the drinks complemented the dishes wonderfully, and the dessert was a delightful end to the meal.

Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, high-quality seafood in a welcoming environment. I will definitely be coming back!

Sea view is good, food kinda overpriced but anyway you are paying because of the view. Still a nice experienced.

Ate here, the food was good. But their music on the speakers does not have spotify premium and is constantly playing ads. Expected more from a restaurant of this price tier.

Go here only if you are willing to pay hotel price for food with streetfood quality. A plate of fries cost ₱350 and that’s just plain fries. Moreover, all salad options are ₱485. Only the view of the Manila Bay is good here. The rest, disappointing. First time I went here was 2015 and now in 2025, I remember why I did not go back. In terms of service, very poor as well considering that there was only one more table aside from us during that time (lean hours). Had to call the staff’s attention several times before I could place an order.

Harbour View’s stunning location floating on Manila Bay offers breathtaking views of the harbor and city lights, making for a romantic evening. The food is generally great, with highlights including bake scallops, beef salpicao, sizzling dishes, and sizzling patootsie, although the beef sinigang fell short with tough meat. However, the customer service was a major letdown – our server’s inattentiveness and unhygienic handling of water, taking a pitcher from a soiled table and dismissing concerns with a casual “still ok”, left a sour taste. With some TLC on service, Harbour View can regain its former glory and live up to its picturesque setting.
