We were craving Thai food but what we experienced was food more of a version that felt made by an airline company with the effort of a Denny’s server ready to retire except 50 years younger.

We went for the lunch special option and I suppose from the lack of effort the server made to guide us to a table it should’ve been an indicator that we had to learn the hard way that we should have turned right around and found another place.

Tom kha had more of a sweetness to it than you’d expect and the tomatoes and onions barely fit in the fire pot it was served in. Apparently here you have to give consent to have the THAI FIRE POT lit up otherwise you just get warm soup in a traditional dish. Why serve it in a classic serving vessel and then throw the body language like it’s a hassle to give the full presentation after you asked us if we wanted it lit up?!

Pork spare ribs tasted like it was boiled and then drowned in bottled char siu sauce and served with cheap rice that dried out so quickly you could’ve made fried rice after your 3rd bite.

I suppose there would’ve been a saving grace if there was someone better to have served us. Or maybe just save the extra money and automate the ordering process with a QR code instead of some 20-something year old that would rather rant to a takeout regular like it’s a therapy session over making sure the only 2 tables in the restaurant were accommodated.

Maybe it’s the demographics for the neighborhood, maybe they were just having a bad day for the restaurant, or maybe we had high expectations based on the reviews. Regardless of what the situation may be we will continue to find options that fit our wants out of a dining experience.

We decided to order some Thai food and decided on some pineapple shrimp curry, beef teriyaki with vegetables and edamame. Our order arrived on time and still hot. The items were individually wrapped and tied, especially the curry with no spillage. Everything looked with large cut sizes and my shrimp was also a decent size. The edamame was lightly salted and was a decent serving size. Everything tasted great.

I’m thrilled to share my raving review of this outstanding Thai restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, the exceptional service set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The seafood salad was an absolute delight – the crispness of the ingredients combined with the perfect level of spiciness created an explosion of flavors in every bite. The pad see ew was simply excellent, capturing the authentic taste that Thai cuisine is renowned for. What’s more, the restaurant’s impeccable decor added a touch of elegance to the atmosphere, enhancing the overall dining ambiance.

What truly makes this My Thai stand out is its status as a beloved local gem. It’s not just a place to enjoy incredible Thai food; it’s a hub where locals gather to savor flavors, create memories, and enjoy the warm sense of community. The combination of delectable dishes, attentive service, charming decor, and its status as a cherished local spot makes My Thai an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary experience

It’s my family’s first time here at this restaurant and we absolutely loved it! The staff here is so kind, patient, and courteous. They provided excellent service, and their food was just as good as their service. We ordered the vegetable egg rolls, vegan pad see ew with fried tofu, Thai fried rice and steamed rice. All of the food was amazing we cleaned our plates to the point where we ordered a second helping of the pad see ew which was absolutely delicious. In addition to that, when we got up to wash our hands after I delicious meal, we were faced with sparkling clean bathrooms. This place is really great if you love Thai food and you’re in the area I would definitely recommend it. They get five stars for me and my family, we will definitely be back.

I really love this place. The staff is very friendly and informative of each item on the menu. Smooth soothing music makes it feel nice and comfy. We ordered the Green Curry Chicken, Vegan Yellow Curry, Tom Yum Seafood and the fried dumplings. I think the Yellow curry is a bit better than the green but the green is still great. The Tom Yum soup is always nice to have with the heated serving pot. It adds a little flare to the dinner. The fried dumplings are good. I want to try the steamed dumplings next time. Overall I love the food and the experience. Always an amazing time. Can’t wait to try the other items on the menu!

This is no hate to the staff and they do have good items there. But this was a rip off, I ordered crab Rangoon that was $10 for 8. It looked nothing like the pictures….they were so small and had no crab/imitation crab and barely any cream cheese, they were so dry. I felt so cheated.

Lovely lunch menu. Lovely price given the increased everything these days. I ordered the Red Curry with Vegetables. It came with a yummy vegetable soup. And a crispy but simple salad with a yummy house dressing. The red curry was good, but I have had it before when it tasted even better. Yum. It missed the mark on the flavor this time, but it is usually so good. The veggies they put in were just superb variety. Unfortunately the rice portion was quite small and wasn’t enough. Not sure if this was a sales tactic or an honest oversight or they have just modified their portion–but I have been here before and don’t recall the disproportionate rice to dish ratio. Just saying. The place is a bit divey as it is in a plaza–but it is clean. Each table when cleaned always has the menus right on the table for the next guest. I recommend this place for a nice lunch anytime! It’s till 3. BB was my server and she was so cute and so nice. Service is at a premium lately.

I’ve been here twice and I’m in love with the Tom Yum soup! My friend got the Tom yum shrimp soup with coconut milk and mine was the one with chicken. She liked mine better and I liked both. Everyone is very nice here I can’t wait to go back…. The only problem I have here is the air conditioning doesn’t work well and it’s hot… I’ll come back in the winter!
