Stopped by Venecia Italian restaurant for lunch during the Christmas holiday. After moving into the area couple years ago, we somehow missed this hidden gem. The entire meal was delicious. My son ordered the Lobster Ravioli, so rich with deep flavor he really enjoyed. I tried the Chicken Carciofi (scampi style) I first noticed the chicken flavor was like grilled and super juicy inside. The dish was filled with veggies like artichoke, mushroom, my favorites! Not to forget the dinner Rolls you can smell baking when you first walk in the door, so pillow soft with a slight crust, perfect for dipping:) We had great service, the table was clean. Don’t drive by, come on in! You’ll want to check this place out, the food is amazing:)

October 31, 2025 was our first time dining at Venecia Italian Restaurant in Farmersville, Texas and we truly enjoyed our Friday night date here!
The service was excellent and our server was kind, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. My wife ordered the pasta combo, and I had the stromboli with Canadian bacon. Both were absolutely delicious! We left completely satisfied with the food and the experience.
The restaurant itself is clean, beautifully designed with Italian decor, and has a positive ambiance. The only small thing I wasn’t a fan of was the techno music playing over the speakers. It wasn’t loud or distracting, just not my personal preference.
I highly recommend for lunch or dinner! There’s plenty of great food to choose from, and we’ll definitely be coming back again.

Service was excellent. Chicken picatta, shrimp diavolo, shrimp pesto and the calzone, dinner salads and rolls were superb! Large portions and authentic dishes. We were just passing through and chose based on reviews, glad we did. It was packed and everyone looked happily dining. 5 stars!

First time visitors and would be back to try other items. The rolls they serve right when you arrive were warm and very flavorful. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it wasn’t great so wouldn’t recommend that as it was overly chewy and lacked flavor and the portion for $10 was slim. Otherwise, our main entrees were hot, very filling and much a flavor punch.
Very clean establishment overall and so were the bathrooms, which is nice to see. The server was pleasant but not very talkative or overly personable so depending on how you like your dine that might change your experience.

This has been a family favorite for many years. The food is great and the prices are good. It has the local feeling to it. The restaurant was packed tonight. The staff is working extremely hard. I will continue to stop by for years to come. And they did a wonderful job on their remodeling.

My family and I have eaten here on several occasions. I waited to write a review because I wanted to make sure the great food was consistent and I must say it has been amazing every time! The food is always hot and fresh. My husband went one time and I told him what I wanted and they did not have it on the menu but the guy said he could make it and he did! That is unheard of customer service. Tonight we ordered take out and once again they did not disappoint. We had 2 spaghetti with meat sauce, chicken parmigiana, and chicken florentina. By far the best Italian food we have ever eaten!

Food was outstanding and the portions outnumbered the cost. I recommend the Chicken Genovese! The bread is great! Cheese sticks are okay… We will be back! Serving staff are great, too!

Maybe the best restaurant in Farmersville. Everything on the menu is fantastic! We do take-out quite often. Tonight the wife and I did fate night. She had a really good chicken parm. The shrimp on my amazing seafood combo was so fresh it tasted more like chicken. I’m serious haha.

This place was on our list to try as it is part of the Nikki’s in Murphy family. Venecia did not disappoint!! The bread knots were soft and buttery. Their side sad with house dressing was the perfect starter! The plates were beautifly presented and the taste was superb! Will definitely be adding this place to our favorites list!!
