I had the pleasure of visiting First Watch for the first time today with my mom, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the overall service was fantastic.

A special shoutout to our server, Tim, who truly made the experience even better. He was kind, observant, helpful, and incredibly courteous—everything you hope for when it comes to great customer service. He made us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of.

As someone who’s new to the area and will soon be moving down from New York, this was a fantastic first impression. I’m already looking forward to coming back and making First Watch one of my go-to spots for breakfast or lunch!

Our server was excellent. Very kind. Other servers asked us if we needed anything also. Food is consistently delicious and hot. The warm syrup is a great touch! The manager checked on us too. All the servers seem friendly with each other whip is good to see-working as a team.

I love First Watch! Today, it was subar at best. No wait for table, which was nice. I came in seated by a nice new hostess who had been there 3 days. Waited 5 minutes with no service. I tracked the hostess down, she apologized and went and let them know. I got water from the waitress and tipped the cup above the carafe, waitress was suppose to bring another one. Must have forgot. I had to track the hostess, she apologized again and went and got me a cup. I ordered the Farmhouse Hash and a Monterey Turkey Sandwich for my birthday offer. Waitress delivered my food. Asked if there was anything else she could get. The farmhouse hash potatoes completely overcooked and burned under the eggs….tomatoes mashed to a point they were just there. Avocado under the toast bad. The bacon pieces were burned, some charred black. The toast and eggs were good. I just couldn’t get past the burnt potatoes and bacon. I ate what I could and just asked for to go cartons. Did get a bag at checkout. Normally, I go to Providence location. I wanted to try this location since I live in Ballantyne. I so hoped it would be better. Restaurant was clean….atmosphere was nice.

I’m traveling alone and couldn’t resist when I saw the First Watch sign!!! I was surprised to learn they have a community table and since I was alone it was perfect and I didn’t have to wait. The Strawberry Tres Leches Fresh Toast was 10/10!!!

it’s A LOT of food! We got the farmhouse hash and it’s huge. It was slightly salty but the egg, avocado and cooked tomato helped to balance that part out. The morning meditation drink is decent. Beet is slightly overpowering. French toast was ok, the grits were good and I like the combo of cheese. Overall great service and great atmosphere !!!

Food was okay. Eggs ordered over-medium came out with runny whites. Bacon tasted old and as you can see in the photo the tea options were either dirty or mostly cheap non-breakfast teas.

Everything was fine with the food actually, it was great. It was my first time visiting the place and I wanted to try something from the menu. However, what I experienced were repellent and indiscreet attitudes from the staff. They kept watching us the entire time as if they were expecting us to do something improper. To the point that we hadn’t even finished eating when they brought the bill to the table, which I find inappropriate and felt like an invitation for us to leave, something I consider quite rude.
