Homemade ice cream including a dairy-free/ vegan chocolate made with oatmilk and two sorbets if you need dairy-free. They have lots of outdoor seating (benches and picnic tables) and nice views. A got the single scoop with two flavors and the size was very generous and larger than another local icecream chain I like.

I told them about my step-mom loving their ice cream after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer and he made her a special batch and called us to come get it. How amazing is that in today’s world!

This local business has great frozen desert options. Their available cold desserts include ice cream, sorbet, and sherbet among others. The is a large list of ice cream flavors that all sound really good. The ice cream I got there was amazing, very refreshing and flavorful. Fun ice cream shop, we came twice on our week-long trip to the area. Some hit or miss flavors – not sure if it was just a bad scoop but we had some with mix-ins that ended up just tasting like vanilla. The lavender and lemon blueberry flavors were our favorite. We loved the fun color changing spoons (this was possibly a major factor in the trip back, my husband and I are pretty easily entertained). Service was great and friendly even though we got there late.

This is hands down the best Ice Cream in the area! They have the most delicious waffle cones, and every single person I encounter here is nothing short of pleasant. They have a wonderful medley of flavors to fit different palates. If you haven’t tried them, you are missing out! I would give more stars if I could!

Forget all the other ice cream in and around Asheville, this place is it. Worth the drive – the quality is great, the texture is on point, they have a variety of unique and amazing flavors. It also has an adorable outside and a little window to order from, and is fairly priced on top of that. Double scoop cone for $5. I had cherry goat cheese and banana butter butter – – and then got honey lavender (not a flavor I love but wanted to try and compare) and lemon blueberry cheesecake, both of which were also amazing.

My husband and I are visiting the area from about 5 hours away. We went to Hilltop after reading recommendations online. The ice cream and homemade waffle cones were absolutely delicious and the owner was very friendly. He chatted with us while we enjoyed our ice cream, then gave us a cup of another flavor for free (we were sure to drop a few dollars in the tip jar). If you’re looking for great ice cream and service, you definitely need to stop by.

Swing through solo while waiting for the wife after work. Immediately I was impressed with the view at the shoppe. The staff were very friendly. Serving sizes generous. Texture/flavor – top notch!
I switched it up and got vanilla and creamsicle. A 3 scooper. Boy, that was a lot of ice cream. Finished it no problem, as it was creamy and delicious.
Creamsicle flavor was exactly what I hoped it would be.
Definitely heading back here with the wife. Must stop if you like authentic homemade ice cream.
