I have never had blander or more tasteless taco in my life. I find it kind of impressive how bad the tacos here were. The meat—chicken—might as well have been boiled. It appeared to have no seasoning added whatsoever and its rubbery texture reminded me of microwaved entrees from the frozen food aisle. There was no salsa or hot sauce provided with the meal. A few tomato chunks and a heaping load of cilantro were somehow similarly tasteless. I was shocked because friends of mine had told me the food here was great, so maybe just don’t order the tacos or don’t order them at late night? I don’t know. I am also, I should say, shocked by my own reaction to these tacos—I did not know that tacos could be messed up this badly. The ambiance and drinks were good. No complaints there.

truly a hidden gem…as a native to the area I was shocked that I never knew about this place. I recently moved back to town. I really enjoy the genuine friendliness and hospitality from everyone, even down to when the kitchen brings your food sometimes. The bartenders are really nice and the drinks are delicious. Nice prices as well. I really love the wu-tang slider. The chipotle maple wings are also yummy.

overall, 10/10

Each dish was cooked to perfection. Northside Noodles was our favorite selection. Definitely check them out for a great meal! Chef Krock and Sous Chef Stafford have the skills!

Tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of Franklin street, Northside District offers a great vibe, good drinks and varied small plate selection. Great place to grab a drink and enjoy the unique artwork!

Best little cozy bar in chapel hill. Definitely a place to lounge around and have great drinks. If you’re in the mood for food, & love spicy?? The scorpion wings are hands down, the best wings ever. So crispy and sweet, but so hot!!! The bartenders are very nice unless you give them some rich entitled b.s… this is a local bar with local people. Don’t not act like an entitled spoiled brat in this place or the whole place will gang up on you lol. This place feels like family tbh. Love this bar.

Paid $500 for food for 50 for an event here, and got half a tray of fries, a tray of tofu, a tray of asparagus, and a tray of salad, and it ran out after less than 30 people. They didn’t even provide serving utensils, or enough forks, and didn’t seem to care to help. Terrible service and terrible value. Would never hold an event here again.

The only redeeming qualities are that the beer is fairly priced and the food was edible (if not exactly good).
