This little spot sells amazing street style tacos. I had the Al Pastor, birria, chorizo, and papas. All the tacos were amazing. The birra is just the meat in regular tortilla. The salsa was spicy and flavorful. Pleas take cash for the tip. I was so hungry I forgot to take photos.

I love this place the Tacos are amazing. Really everything I have had is amazing. Tortas Burritos all of it is so good. The staff is very friendly and attentive to what you want and the way you want it. Very clean from the food station to the dining area. Great place for lunch they do get packed but they makesure you get in and out as fast as they can and still serve great food. If you haven’t eaten there I highly recommend it. If there was a way to give them a 100 Star rating I would.

The breakfast tacos were delicious! The customer service was friendly and respectful! They cooked the eggs right there in front of you with the meat. They put gloves on before serving you. The coffee was good! The Taco Shop is located in Southlake. Their flour tortillas were delicious too. My kids enjoyed the rice and beans too. I really appreciated the meal and service. I’ll for sure be back.

Food is amazing,
The best Pastor Tacos you will ever find in DFW. Marinade is savory with a perfect amount of sweetness and citrus from the pineapple and the cook on it gives a great texture without drying out the meat.
All around great tacos and tortas that I have tried.
Service is fast and nice, atmosphere gets 5 stars because it’s probably the only taco shop you will walk into in a good while that is clean and well kept.

New owners have DESTROYED the food AND service! Went in for lunch today, and it was clear that nobody behind the counter had any food service experience. I waited about 3x the normal time to get my taco plate as the confused staff literally spun in place.
The Al Pastor was dry and _waaay_ overcooked, as though somebody forgot about it. The rice is dry and tastes terrible – literally inedible. Had a couple bites of Al Pastor before I tossed the whole $15 plate.
This used to be my favorite place that I would hit for lunch/dinner every week. But I won’t be going back! They are also only open for lunch now.
Really wondering how these people managed to diminish quality across every axis (service, taste, availability) overnight. These new owners are insane if they think they can sell $15 taco plates that taste like this; Chipotle is better.
I have so many questions:
– Why do people think they can operate a restaurant with no experience?
– Did anybody on the new staff try the old food? Because it should be immediately clear to anybody with tastebuds that this is a dramatic downgrade!

This is without a doubt the best place for Mexican food in the area. John and his wife are the most hospitable owners, and the amazing gentlemen working behind the counter are so amazing. I would go to this shop at least three times a week when I was working in the area. Do not miss out on this place. The line is sometimes out the door but worth the wait.

Love this taco spot! They have fresh tortillas, both flour and corn. Their charro beans are out of this world good!! I could be very happy with just those!!! The tacos are great. They have nopales!! I really liked their birria tacos. All the meats we tried were good. The sauce was great! I’m definitely coming back for the breakfast tacos. They also have bakery items, but those seem to sell out. Guess the early bird gets the concha!
