We had a party of 8 for dinner tonight and we were able to be seated quickly, our order was promptly taken, plenty of chips and salsa, and the food was delicious. Phenomenal service- very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return!

I order food here on Wednesdays to pick up and eat with my husband at work. Normally the food is fine. Today’s food was pretty bad. I ordered two plates and a drink which came out to over 40 .There was no seasoning on anything, I got a big piece of fat with the steak , the chicken was bland .for the fried milanesa it hardly had breadcrumbs and the ones that had it were barely hanging on to the meat and again was bland. Overall the experience was not good and I won’t be ordering from here for the meantime.

Fantastic Mexican food in Burgaw. I’ve eaten here three times now and each time was great. The portions are very generous and the pricing is fair. The waitstaff is always attentive. The Tacos Al Pastor are some of the best I’ve ever had. One of the best choices for sitting down and enjoying a meal in town.

If you like spicy, the bacon-wrapped, cheese-stuffed jalapeños are a delight!. The ACP was well seasoned, and the table side salsa was fresh and delicious. This place was cute either way a vibrant atmosphere. The customer service was exceptional. I would definitely return.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Will NEVER go there again. I’ve eaten at El Mariachi before about a month ago and the food was excellent. Went in to order to go tonight. I had raved to my parents about how good the food was.
2 employees doing absolutely nothing at the front door. The minute I ordered to go, for 4 people, it all changed.
They shoved me over to this young kid, standing there eating while he’s screwing our order up bad.
The kid was too busy eating, his chocolate sticks to concentrate on our order. A nice girl came to help, but she didn’t know what she was doing and it took 2 other people (yes, 4 people) plus a photo of their own menu on my phone to place a simple, standard menu item.
It was a wreck.
Food was gross. We were missing one “Chili Poblano” of 3.
I verified that these Chili Poblanos had meat inside. They verified yes, and were supposed to be fried. Nope. The two we got were a container of slop. The food was so bad, after I found hair inside of my beans (deep) coming out on a chip, I stopped eating and threw it out. Health and safety codes should look into this.
What happened to your place? I drove 45 minutes round trip to go there.
We didn’t get what we paid for, missing food, horrible experience. Food was incredibly bland this time.
Don’t think we will ever be back. How did you guys go downhill in 2 months or so, this bad?
No wonder your restaurant had nobody inside and wait staff sitting around bored doing nothing and kinda upset we wanted to take food home.
I’m going to call in and complain to the manager there tomorrow. Your company won’t survive at this pace. Taco Bell Would have been better.

The food here is awesome!!! I got the tamales which comes 3 to a plate. If you want authentic Mexican food come check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!
