I had to be NPO for tests that day. By 2 pm I was starving by 4p.m. I was sick from not eating. I passed the Bill& Ruth’s on 145th at 61st coming home. I stopped in and asked,”what’s quick and filling?” I got a Tuna Salad sub meal, sat there and ate the whole thing. I got a second to take home for later and a 5 meat sub for my husband’s dinner! 8 got a second turkey, ham, provolone and more, no dressing for his lunch the next day(got mustard, dressing, and the lettuce, onion, & peppers on the side in containers to go for next day so the sub wouldn’t get soggy overnight). It pays to “splurge” every now & then. The subs are reasonably priced, very good flavorful meats and ingredients. I have been back twice since. They are priced competitively to any burger joint. They have spaghetti, chili and more than subs, too!

French beef sandwich. Nasty. It was all bread, maybe, maybe, 2 ounces of meat, and gummy cheese. The au jus was disgusting. I see another bad review was mentioned, last week. Just take it off the menu since it’s made so poorly. Good news, I’ll never crave your shop again.

ive asked for my french dip bread to not only be toasted but extra toasted as well as the entire sandwich cooked extra because the cheese is never melted all the way and 3 times in a row now the bread has been un toasted….

Casual environment with seriously delicious food. Don’t have to wait long at all (fast services). (We were so hungry that we ate half way through before remembering to take pictures. Sorry!) NOTE: The cold sub really is cold in temperature. If you want it warm, please let them know during ordering.

You can’t go wrong with this Bill & Ruth’s sub shop. All the traditional sandwiches and a little bit more, salads clam chowder the works very delicious. Clean atmosphere very friendly staff.

It’s a nice little place with a variety of fast foods…They have subs, hot dogs, salads, burgers and gyros, etc…
A lady behind the counter took my order and she was very sweet…
My sub cost about $10 bucks for the foot long and the quality of it was very good…

Best sandwich shop around; also really good burgers. This little restaurant is much better than all the chains. (Subway, Jimmy John’s etc.) Highly recommended! Update: tried their Gyros today and they are excellent. We tried the Gyros plate that comes with tabouli and hummus; the hummus was excellent as were the Gyros. The tabouli is one that leans toward the parsley side and wasn’t my favorite but that’s on me not them.
