As a person that dines around the USA / World more than most, I can tell you with confidence there is no better experience than Michael’s. The ambiance, the service, the food. Wow. I have eaten here several times dating back to when the restaurant was in the Barbary Coast. Nothing has changed and that is a good thing. If you ever want the ultimate dining experience (perfect for dates / special occasions) – I strongly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Absolute Las Vegas hidden gem. Expensive but worth it.

Sea bass with buttered leeks was amazing, and the portion of fish was enormous.

Petite filet, delicious. Bananas foster and strawberry banana cake, amazing.

They just kept bringing food to the table. The food never ended. What a dream.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would! I brought my fiancé as a surprise during our vacation in Vegas (both of our first time eating here). Vincent was very welcoming and kept a smile on our face, as well as made incredible recommendations for each course of food we enjoyed throughout the evening. All of the staff was very attentive to our every need and the chef and his crew curated every dish to perfection. The table side service was a splendor to be a witness to. I want to thank Vincent and the rest of the team at Micheal’s from the bottom of my heart, for providing a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Micheal’s!

Special meal, 2nd time going since 2019. Service is over the top, 3 main guys have cumulative worked at Micheal’s for 100+ years.

We had some of everything, food and drink are the best. Had veal w prosciutto, I’d get that again. Prepared table side. Caesar salad was also table side and so good, original recipe spicy and full of flavor. Apps included veggie tray, seafood (small portion, not enough to share), French onion soup. So good, huge portions.

Margaritas were awesome, drinks were kept topped off. Dessert was so good, bananas foster (table side), strawberry/banana cake, fruit bowl. We had to get rolled out of there. 2 hour experience.

One of the most opulent dining experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived till we walked out the door I can’t think of anything that could have been better. Impeccable service and attention to detail. Can’t wait to go back for another opportunity to try some of the other items we didn’t try.

We went to Michael’s on our wedding day and we were treated like royalty. The ambiance is red, romantic & luxurious. The food is prepped or seared in front of you, which is entertaining. And overall the food is spectacular, best steak I’ve ever eaten. Hugh Thank You to Michael’s Gourmet Room for making our wedding day extra special!

One of a kind experience. Literally the best service I’ve ever had. There must have been 8 separate people serving our table of 3. And I’ve never had so many complimentary ‘extras’ thrown into a meal before. Step back in time… the red velvet atmosphere is old school Vegas. This place has Golden Steer beat by a mile.

We had no idea what to expect of this place when we decided to walk in, but it was a good dining experience, for sure.

The food was excellent. The crab cakes with housemate tartar sauce was my wife’s favorite thing (and I really enjoyed it as well). The scallops were delicious and the escargot was definitely tasty.

We also really enjoyed the French onion soup.

We probably should have stopped at the appetizers, because we were pretty full after all that. However, we wanted to try some things out, and we got the rack of lamb (which was great). That was probably all we needed to order as it was a full meal complete with side veggies and a good portion of lamb for each person.

Pricing looks steep at first, but it really isn’t much different than any other steakhouse when portions and sides are considered.

We spent around $430 (including tip and taxes), but we ordered about 3x more than two people normally would.

If we came back, we might get crab cakes, French onion soup and a chicken or steak main course each.

Great service as well. It was a bit confusing at first though.

The one and only thing I would say may be better is if they ditched the veggie platter, rye bread and crackers at the start and swapped them for a fresh baguette with butter or some type of croissant. The veggies were mostly pickled and pretty unnecessary, in my opinion.

Overall, we had a great night out.

We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. A server I don’t know his name because he didn’t tell us what it was. He was a man with glasses was Asian we asked a simple question about steaks. He proceeded to literally start to raise his voice at us. I had noticed his demeanor prior to him coming to our table. He was yelling at all the other servers.
He then started our Ceasar Salad but was so busy trying to control everything in the room,
He would leave to go attend something else. So needless to say it was not a great experience! I finally couldn’t take it anymore, so I asked Francisco to Please take him away from our table. After that it became a great experience with Jr. and Francisco.
Who ever this server was he has a terrible attitude and should concentrate solely on his tables.
For him to speak to us in the manner that he did was despicable! I wish I would have had Francisco or Jr to begin with. I would have loved to enjoy it without being berated. I didn’t have a great experience to BEGIN with!
So, if you ever go there, Francisco is the person to have!
Thank you for making the last part of our dinner so much better!

Michael’s Gourmet Room has to be one of the premier restaurants in all of Las Vegas. Hidden in the South Pointe Casino you will find old school Las Vegas with the elegance, exceptional service and a variety of food that will satisfy anyone’s palette. Sitting in this beautiful restaurant looking at the beautiful stained glass skylight you just can’t imagine that outside those walls is a hectic casino. First of all the atmosphere is quiet and very pleasant for conversation as you wait in anticipation of what is to come. Our head waiter Frank and his crew were amazing. They knew what you wanted as soon as you mentioned it. Frank knows the menu and all deserts in detail so when you ask any questions he’s got the answers. The appetizers along with the wine at the beginning let’s you know that what’s to come will be phenomenal. My wife and I shared the French Onion Soup and it was served in two separate bowls that looked like a full regular order. They have a good variety of salads and once again we shared a salad and it came in two separate servings that looked like their normal serving. The Filet Mignon was huge and it just melted in your mouth. My wife just loved her Chicken dish. The deserts were very tasty. Cherries Jubilee and the Crème brulee were as good as they looked. Frank and his crew completed our evening with a complimentary fruit tray with apples and pears and also a cold chocolate dipped fruit tray. If you are looking for a very special experience make sure you make your reservations here at Michael’s you won’t be disappointed.
