First time going there on 4/14/25 and 4/16/25. Yes, I went there twice in a week with my daughter, it was that good. I was impressed, clean and friendlyfamily atmosphere. Meet with the owner and we had a nice conversation. He was very polite and curtesy. We had basil stir fry, seafood curry, tumyum kung, pork belly, laab and sweet chicken. Everything was well made. On the side note, sweet chicken was a little sweet for me but again it sweet chicken. If you have a sweet tooth, that’s perfect for you.

I’ve tried a lot of different restaurants looking for the perfect pho. I found it here at Dan’s! Dan took the time to check in on us and make sure we had an excellent experience at his restaurant. Delicious food, friendly staff, and very clean place. Love it and will be back many times!

Traveling through and had their Seafood Curry…it was excellent! Perfect sticky rice. Coconut Boba tea was tasty when finally thawed, but they don’t make it there and they must keep it frozen, so it took awhile and I got a slushy headache from it. Atmosphere ok. Could use more attentive service at front where you order…have to ring bell a few times. I would definitely stop again to try something else! Delicious!

Feeling a massive craving for squash curry and Hmong eggrolls on a Monday night and thought we would see how Dan’s stacks up against the other well established Thai places in the area. The answer? Exceptionaly well. The curry was as good as any I have had. The (extra) spice level was adequate to get the sinuses flowing. And the egg rolls were perfect. We were regularly attended to by the staff and felt very welcomed. The food came out pipeing hot one bowl at a time as each entree or side was ready and the wait either to order or to get our food felt very quick.

Overall we loved our first visit and plan to return often. We only had two improvements for the restaurant. The first was that our server kept putting the piping hot glass bowls at the edge of the table in front of our 1 year old. (Rookie mistake). The second, the rangoons lacked sufficient crab meat but were otherwise well stuffed with cream cheese and ample green onion and perfectly fried. If the kept all the green onion and doubled the crab, charged just a small amount more, they would have some winners.

We ordered the Pho, Chicken Fried Rice and Pad Thai. All were super good! The Pho meats were alright but broth was pretty amazing! The Pad Thai chicken was a little bland but the sauce and noodles were delicious! The best out of the 3 dishes was the Chicken Fried Rice! It tasted amazing and there were a good amount of toppings! Would 100% recommend the Chicken Fried Rice to those who are trying the place out!

Newer restaurant, next door to another Asian restaurant, and about two blocks from still another Asian restaurant. Went here because grand kid wanted Orange Chicken. They didn’t have it, so he got the closest thing, which he liked. It is run by a Hmong family. We ordered for five people, ate two meals in the restaurant, and took three home. Everyone liked the food. The setting is utilitarian, and reasonable.

Came in with a group of 5, got our food and got out within 30 minutes. Papaya is really good, pho could be better but it’s good to satisfy cravings. Great portions! Would come back again

And you know I love trying out new places.
@downtowngreenbay posted about a new place opening downtown. It popped up on my feed at the perfect time. The kids just got out of classes, so I forwarded them the post.
“If you order it and bring it home, it’ll be my treat.”
Dinner is done!! With leftovers for a few days…
I was excited to try a bit of everything at @danskitchengb located in the Olde Main Street district.
Food is Thai and Hmong flavors.
We ordered Basil Stir Fry, Sweet Chicken, Curry Noodles with chicken, Squash Curry with tofu, Pork Belly, Sticky rice, and Papaya Salad.
It took about 30 minutes to prepare our order. We did have a decent sized order, and the pork belly was cooked fresh for us. Time was spent browsing other stores by Dan’s Kitchen southeast Asian cuisine.
Every dish was delicious. I think tho that the sweet chicken should have a veggie on the side. The Curry Noodles could do with a bit more Curry sauce, I like saucy noodles.
The location of this restaurant is perfect to add to that area.
Next time, I will need to try one of their many different flavors of bubble tea.
***Note: Google only seems to recognize the Sturgeon Bay location. That location has closed, and this one is in downtown Green Bay. ***
