Born in Astoria, Queens in July 2017, Chip City began as a hobby between two childhood friends as they sought to recreate the simple taste of their childhood. What began as a fun challenge to see who could create the best cookie turned into the Chip City we know and love today.

We visited Chip City for the first time yesterday to celebrate a Sunday off and Valentine’s weekend after lunch with my kids and my son’s mother-in-law. What a lovely experience!
The shop is small, but very neat, clean, and cozy. We received such warm, individualized attention from the staff — they made us feel truly welcome.
There was a great variety of cookies to choose from, and we ended up getting a full box: tiramisu, a sandwich cookie, classic chocolate chip, red velvet, and more. The deal is fantastic — buy five cookies and get the sixth one free. We enjoyed four cookies there and took two home for a family member. Everything was very fresh and absolutely delicious (maybe just a tiny bit on the sweeter side, but still amazing!).
They have seating if you want to enjoy dessert inside or you can take it to go. We noticed a steady flow of customers coming in and out, which is always a good sign. They also offer a points system and I believe student discounts as well.
Honestly, they deserve more advertising because the quality of their products and their customer service are excellent. Five out of five stars — we will definitely be back!

On a street of lovely restaurants and dives. Streets are clean and there’s some street parking (1-2hr parking), and parking in the back of eateries.
ChipCity is a nook amongst the other locations, but it’s quaint, clean and smells divine.
I love that flavors change, but also wish some didn’t. The oatmeal cookies are my favorites…yummy!

First time in store with my children and the experience was great! Jocelyn explained every cookie and helped us make delicious decisions. We got the raspberry cheesecake, cookie butter and confetti. I love that there were dairy free options here unlike other cookie stores. I’ll be back again with my children.

The aroma is intoxicating as soon as you walk in to this place! It’s a cookie-lovers dream come true. Staff is very friendly, store is clean and cookies are so incredible – they can be dangerous.

I’ve been here multiple times whenever I want some cookies. So far my favorite cookies is the Blueberry Cheesecake. The Banana cream pie was good but the taste of banana needs to be stronger. Oreo and s’mores cookies are pretty good as well. The rest were good but nothing out of norm.

I came here on the grand opening on 9/9/2022. The people there were friendly and seemed pretty cool. They seemed pretty enthusiastic about the cookies too which was encouraging. I got home and tried them and was pretty happy about it. The chocolate chips melt in your mouth as you chew into the cookie which is great. The cookies are also very thick but hold up and don’t fall apart under their own weight. They have a good formula here. I’d come back for sure.

Stopped by the Chip City location in Garden City around 6:15 pm on Saturday. We were greeted by smiling staff members who were helpful and friendly.
