Victor’s Mexican Grill in Katy, Texas is absolutely outstanding! The tacos were incredible—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was packed with bold, authentic flavor, and you can tell everything is made with care. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. This is hands-down one of our favorite spots in Katy, and we’ll definitely be back for more tacos very soon. Highly recommend!

First time at this location. We used to go to the one off of Fry Rd north of I-10. Most memorable the year of the big freeze.

Anyway, this is close to our house. The updated feel is nice. We were greeted and seated promptly.

We ordered iced teas. They quickly brought chips and salsas. The green sauce was good and fresh. The red sauce had some heat to it.

We ordered combo fajitas to share. They came out with all of the trimmings. Food quality was really good. Iced tea was fresh and cold.

We will be back.

This is the only location I’ve seen where the kitchen is open to view the cooks make your dish (food)!!! Great location for dining in!!! Food is all that!!! Tons of room, great customer service and the prices are reasonable!!!

Update – Had lunch and the food and service was just as good as always, the portion sizes are just right. Highly recommend!
This restaurant was originally over on N. Fry Rd since 1979. The owner’s son has moved all the delicious recipes, attention to wonderful service to this location. Plus, there are two more in Fulshur and Richmond. You won’t be disappointed. Have fun!

Atmosphere: very clean and pretty but there is glass to see into the kitchen so that is strange.
Accessible: It can get cramped and it would be difficult to go to the restrooms if you have mobility issues. There is a hallway that is small and bends.
Service: Excellent beyond words. I was so impressed with the service and how everyone checked up and kept drinks full. Best experience I could have asked for.
Food: it is not as good as the original restaurant that was on Fry Road so I am reviewing this separate for those expectations. The food was just okay. The fajitas really were tended but lacked flavor. The beef enchilada was also underwhelming as was the rice. The standout was the queso. This is an expensive restaurant so it was disappointing that the flavor was lacking. We will return and review again to confirm consistency.

I had an amazing lunch at Victor’s Mexican Grille! I ordered the cheese enchiladas, which were packed with flavor and smothered in the perfect amount of sauce. The charro beans and rice on the side were absolutely delicious, savory and full of that authentic homemade taste. The best part? The whole meal was only $9! You can’t beat that for such high-quality food and service. I’ll definitely be back soon!

First let me just start off by saying I absolutely love this place!! The food is great, portions are pretty good, atmosphere and the service is incredible. That being said….this use to be my go to brunch spot. $7 tortilla soup and $1 mimosas!!! Today came in and they have new menus and you guessed it….prices went up. Super disappointing. The $1 mimosas are now $4!! What the hell?? I get going up maybe a dollar but come on Victor’s. My tortilla soup went up a dollar and all the margaritas went up $2-3. They had a special on Wednesdays, fajitas for 2 for $25 and that is now $30. Don’t get me wrong, $30 is still a decent price for a fajita for 2 special but when you’re a regular coming in and already on a tight budget, it kinda stings. I love this place and even brought friends here for brunch most Sundays however it looks like I will be looking for another brunch spot.

Been waiting like 14 months for this location to open after the Dad’s restaurant in Fry Rd. closed. Just opened 4 days ago. Small space inside a shopping center, so not very large, but still a nice set up. All the food was great and what I was hoping for! Beef enchiladas are just as good as the Dad’s place. Chips and salsa were very good as well. The service was a tad slower than you would like, but wasn’t bad. I think they are lacking in staff right now, which seems to be the norm now days. This is going to be a regular spot for us. So glad they finally opened.

The food was decent and so was the price. We ordered the Tijuana and the fish tacos. It was a toss up between the fish and shrimp, next time I’ll order the shrimp. The fishy wasn’t as moist as I’d like and the same goes for the tres leches. More on that in a minute. The tacos come with two corn tortillas, but the waitress said their homemade corn tortillas were really good and they were.

Our waitress was very nice. I can’t remember her name, but she did a wonderful job. The restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. However, the men’s restroom had two empty paper towel dispensers and the toilet paper dispenser was stingy and only let you get about four squares at a time. Lol.

Like I mentioned, the food was decent, but nothing to write home about. We ordered the flan and tres leches for dessert. The flan was much better than the tres leches. It wasn’t very moist and had a cornbread consistency, but the flavor was good.

I’m interested to see how their fajitas are next go round.
