Best bbq I’ve had in awhile. Ribs were perfectly seasoned and the beef jalapeño sausage was so good. Mac n cheese so good i went and slapped my momma. Not really but it’s good good. Potato salad was so good as well. Service was top notch. Good impression on my first visit.

BBQ 56 Brunch is a MUST!
Brunch at BBQ 56 was absolutely amazing. The food was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned—true comfort food done right. Everything came out hot and beautifully plated, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, perfect for a weekend brunch, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. If you’re looking for great food, great vibes, and an overall fantastic brunch experience, BBQ 56 is definitely the place. I’ll 100% be back!

BBQ 56 in Atlanta is a must-visit for barbecue lovers, and the experience goes far beyond the food. The signature “Dino” Beef Rib is the undeniable star of the show—massive, incredibly tender, and packed with deep, smoky flavor that falls right off the bone. Every bite proves that the owner truly understand the craft of smoked BBQ. The vibe is amazing, from the music to thr aesthetic: laid-back, energetic, and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food with great company. If you’re looking for bold flavors, smoked meats, and a seamless BBQ experience (ask for Alicia). BBQ 56 easily earns its place one of the best BBQ spots in Atlanta. BEST HAPPY HOUR IN ATLANTA

Ummmm! Yes please! A close friend brought me here as he has known the proprietor Ron for over 30 years and I am so glad that he did. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Just amazing vibes and amazing food. Excellent atmosphere. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the breeze from the open garage window setup, and had fall off the bone ribs and succulent, juicy chicken. Plus it was served the right way with 2 slices of white bread! Ha! I loved the sauces, the music, the people, the everything.

WestView just got itself a whole blessing, y’all. Ron finally took that legendary street smoker of his and leveled up into a full brick-and-mortar BBQ spot — and it shows. Big screens everywhere, a full bar, and the kind of neighborhood energy that feels like home the second you walk in.

I kicked things off with “The Road Glide,” which is basically a strawberry Hennessy margarita living its best life. My husband went for the strawberry lemon drop and didn’t say a word until that glass was empty — so that tells you everything you need to know.

Food-wise? Ron did not come to play. I ordered the ribs, and they were fall-off-the-bone perfect. Hubby demolished the wing dinner like he hadn’t eaten in three days. That mustard BBQ sauce? The MVP. The macaronis & cheese, fries, onion rings, and collard greens were all hitting at 100%.

And because I was raised right, we wrapped things up with the nanner pudding — creamy, nostalgic, and downright dangerous.

Huge shoutout to Alicia, our waitress turned new friend. Patient, kind, and on top of everything. WestView’s been waiting for this spot, and Ron delivered. Highly recommend.

We looked for a place to eat after a long day of traveling from Detroit, Michigan. We came to BBQ 56 it was nothing short of sensational. The service and food were fantastic. Shermaine was phenomenal. Had no idea until she told us it was her 3rd. The owner Ronald stopped to say hi and made some suggestions, he suggested the beefribs and the beef brisket. Let me just tell you they were to die for. The mac & cheese and the fries were bar none amazing.

Tendernism!!
I recommend this place. The catfish nuggets were fresh. As soon as I took the first bite, my thoughts were “this from though from the lakes fr..”
The server was nice. The rib tips were tender. The smoked wings had a great smoke flavor. The greens, potato salad and baked beans were my favorite sides. The experience was a 10. If had a concern it would be parking.

Very friendly and inviting service. Rib tips were perfect. The baked beans weren’t my preference but baked beans are always one of those subjective foods so I won’t knock them for that. Overall, glad I randomly found this BBQ hole in the wall for when I come to this side of town.

Wow!!! BBQ 56 is fire! The ribs just fall off the bone and are so wonderfully seasoned that you don’t need sauce. The sausage was very favorable. The chicken was a little dry. The backed beans are perfect: not too sweet. The potato salad and the green beans were okay.
Service was great. The restaurant isn’t open yet but you can order food to-go.
