Great food! Very delicious!: not too spicy; the right amount of yummy! We were unable to pay with cash and we did not have a card so we had to order online and pay online and get served at the restaurant and they were very attentive to our needs! And the portions were excellent as well as the pricing!

This has become a regular stop for many families in Hiawatha and after enjoying lunch there I can understand why. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. The restaurant manager helped me with a special request – going over and above expectations. There is a friendly atmosphere – in no small part due to courteous and friendly staff. When I return to this community, I will definitely come back to El Conelo!

This is a Chain restaurant and it’s good but the food is slightly different at each location. The alcohol pricing is dramatically different from each location for the same item. I find that to be ridiculous. However, staff is friendly and attentive.

New to the area and found this little stop. We did Mexican food in a nearby city a few months ago, and they should have been ashamed to call it Mexican food. El Canelo….THEY can call themselves Mexican food! Chips and salsa were great. Staff was quick and friendly. And street tacos were done right! Best part, everything was delivered with a smile in about 5 minutes after ordering. Didn’t expect that. Great value for aome quality flavorful food!

I went here with one of the cutest girls ever who is from Falls City, NE. We were just driving around looking at the beautiful scenery when she suggested we go to Hiawatha to grab a Margarita because she needed to have one to loosen up and find me attractive. We drank and laughed and I left her there…not really. I took her back home gave her a hug..she’s such a good friend that I didn’t want to ruin that by having margarita sex..it wouldn’t be right.

A very welcoming and warm environment by staff. They accommodated a dish and added sour cream to the side. This place is always patient with my family whether it’s myself, two of my kids, or all five! They’re really kind and I’m happy this place is where it is. Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is vibrant.
