Had a great experience at Biryani and Beyond. We stopped here while driving and were really impressed with the flavors and variety. Everything tasted fresh and well made.
We tried the Chicken 65, boneless goat haleem, Chicken Dum Biryani (true Hyderabadi style), and Chicken Mandi — all were flavorful and satisfying. The biryani especially stood out with its aroma and spice level. We also enjoyed the badam kheer and matka chai, which were a perfect way to end the meal.
Service was friendly, portions were generous, and it felt like a great spot for anyone craving authentic Indian food. Definitely a solid stop, especially if you’re on the way to Tahoe or nearby. Will be coming back again!

Tried this restaurant for the first time and it was a great experience! They use halal meat, which was a big plus for us. We ordered a mouthwatering spread: Chicken Samosa, Mutton Zafrani Dum Biryani, Chicken Reshmi Kabab, Badaam Ki Kheer, Chicken Dum Biryani (Family Pack), and Cheese Paratha. Every dish was rich in authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. To finish, we tried the Watermelon Punch and Strawberry Lemonade mocktails – both were super refreshing and tasted amazing. Service was a little slow, but the staff was polite and attentive. Overall, authentic food, great service, and definitely worth trying.

One of Best Non-veg Biryanis and Lunch Buffet!
Food taste and quality are top notch.
Tandoori chicken was very flavorful and different from other lunch buffets( it does not have the irritating red food color and the typical taste).
Chicken biryani was awesome. Fresh naan, chicken tikka masala were all too good.
I previously ordered a mutton biryani for a takeout. It was delicious.
They recently started the lunch buffet. I wish them luck and hope they maintain the same taste and food quality over time 🙂

I tried the new Desi restaurant in Aks and enjoyed it overall. Highlights included delicious Hyderabadi mutton Briyani , perfectly cooked and Chicken 65, and good ambiance. The fish fry was also a well. One downside was the mutton kadhai, where the meat was undercooked, making it hard to eat despite good flavor and good for one person quantity.

Yummy food with many variety dishes @ buffet hard to find these days for veg & non veg eaters. Since, I m strictly non-veg eater will rate accordingly Haleem is the best, Dum ka Murgh with cashew rice will take you back to old Hyderabad memories. Tandoori Chicken is very well marinated with perfect cooking temperature it melts in the mouth & juicy. Badam ki kheer is really awesome not too sweet that everyone can enjoy it.
Overall great experience. prices of the buffet is very affordable with huge variety & quality of the food is great (Zabiha Halal). Kids friendly and enough parking. Love the halal grocery next to it makes life more easier don’t go shopping without eating

We visited on a Monday when they were serving their buffet, and it was absolutely worth it. The food was incredibly delicious! The Chicken Dum Biryani and Mutton Haleem were full of rich flavors. The Apollo chicken gravy was outstanding — the chicken was so tender and perfectly cooked. It was honestly one of the best Tandoori chicken and Cheesy chicken spicy kabab I’ve ever had. And to end on a sweet note, the badam ki kheer was simply delightful.

Huge portions, insane flavor, im watering at the mouth just thinking about it.. and i JUST finished the meal LOL this place has top teir flavors and good prices. The dum biryani was like a piece of heaven in a bowl. Wow. The Papri Chaat was unique, ive never had something that tasted like that. The tamarind chutney brought it all together.
