As for ambiance and setting, the sunset was incredible for photo backdrops and the gift shop had tons of fun items. I wish we would see the resort get back to operational, it would be a top pick locatio. Without hesitation. Overall, our favorite resturant stop in St. John, even over Lavango and Karma.
When our bill came the lobster was still on it, I had to ask to have it removed. Overall, atmosphere and drinks were amazing. The food was less than subpar.
Certainly a top 5 all time experience. Phenomenal setting, food, service and vino.
Still thinking about this place weeks later. An absolute must.
The four course menu is divine. The charcuterie that comes out as the initial course impressed my husband, who is typically less than impressed by meats and cheeses on a wood board. His tagliatelle with rabbit was “the best pasta I ever had” according to my husband. I would argue that my scallops and pasta would top that. The meatball (an add on for the meal) was THE BEST meatball I’ve ever had. I’ve never had such a jealous that melted in my mouth like that meatball.
The lamb rack has ruined every other restaurant’s rendition of lamb. It was flavorful, tender, juicy. Seriously – I will never look at lamb the same.
Dessert melted in your mouth and could, quite
possibly, replace the need for sex.
When I am on my death bed, I would like someone fly me to St John and park me at the first available table.
Whether you’re looking for a secluded romantic dinner with the sunset or just some family time, this is a must go to when you’re on St. John.
The food palette and drinks are definitely made with passion and love which makes the overall experience amazing. Until next time!
Reservations are required, but this 4 course dining experience is exquisite.
Great wine and cocktail list to enjoy while meandering about the premises. Check out the boutique and take a sunset walk to the end of the dock.
All of the servers make great suggestions for pairings, incredible attention to detail on staple and rotating menu items.
A casual, romantic, getaway here will leave you will a happy belly.
