My child and I each ordered and got the spam musubi. It broke a part very easily. It was hot to upon receiving it. Maybe it was sitting under the hot light a bit long. The color of the spam is off, the seaweed isnt fresh. The rice was decent. While the service was extremely fast, the musubi seems old. I’m really eating it because I’m hungry. It was $4.05 each.
This is the second time we’ve come recently and have been disappointed each time.

I’ve eaten here weekly for the last two months I really like their macaroni salad. And that sounds silly to say because I’m not a big on noodle salads. But when I first ordered here I got the reg. barbecue chicken plate, which comes with two scoops of rice and a scoop of noodle salad. I turn this order into two meals for me. I divide the rice and chicken and save for later. I like that they have different Hawaiian juice flavors yum. I’ve even ordered a cheeseburger from here for my daughter who said it was delicious. Last night I came and ordered one scoop of rice and one scoop of macaroni salad paid less than $4.
They are often busy here because the food does take time to be cooked and they don’t cook the food until you order so you can call ahead or just come with your patience.

HORRIBLE customer service. This one time months ago, I put in the note that I didn’t see a bbq chicken option on the menu and that if they had it, could they please replace the spam with the chicken. When you hit the reorder button in the app it will automatically reload the note from the previous order. So the past couple times I have ordered, I have unknowingly sent that note again and again. Which I know can be annoying, but they gave me a handwritten note in the order. There could have been many other ways of informing me of my repeated order than this. I am a pretty loyal customer so this is even more annoying. I will not be ordering from here again.

I think something is off with the quality of the meat. Got a mixed bbq plate and the chicken hadn’t been marinated much at all and the spare rib was cut so thick you had to like tear it apart with your teeth like a wild animal . Rice was still good and the teri beef was okay but quality of the meat and the marinade left me adding soy sauce for flavor. Service was good and the person taking orders was pleasant but the food itself was a bummer.

My son ordered a teriyaki bowl that we were going to share. Well…no one ate it. Teriyaki itself is a strong flavor, no need to really add anything else. Apparently, they doused the top of the meat with teriyaki sauce also. We tried scraping the sauce off the top to try to make it edible since we don’t like to waste. Nope. I’m sure there are better things on the menu, but at least you know what to avoid!
