Amazing and authentic afghani cuisine!
The mantu, beef chapli kabuli and chicken skewers were sooo good!
Very delicious and must needed in ATX!

Delicious authentic Afghan food. Right when you approach the truck, the customer service is kind and welcoming. The food itself is amazing, especially the mantu. This is probably one of the best mantus I’ve ever had, and that is coming from an Afghan. The sauce is different in a good way. It’s creamy with a hint of dill and brings out the flavours of the dumpling very well. It seems like the dumpling dough is made from scratch which just goes to show the level of care they put into the quality of their food. I can’t wait to come back!

The price on the truck is different to what they are charging. I ordered a chicken kebab, with rice and salad. The food was good but they forgot to put any kind of sauce. They had fish on the menu hut when I wanted to order it they said they did not have any fish.

Loved the afghani pulaoo, everyone has there on preference but for me kishmish and carrot was not enough and pulaoo was missing afghani sweet taste

I had my first experience with Afghan cuisine, and it was fantastic! I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Food: I loved the Chicken Chapli Kabab and Qabuli Paluw—both were perfectly cooked.
Service: The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming! Even though he was juggling orders and cooking all by himself, he still made time to chat and share some insights about Afghani culture and what inspired them to open their business.
Ambiance: You can’t miss the food truck—it’s parked at the corner of a gas station. They’ve set up a few tables on the side of the truck for dining.

You have to try this place! What an amazing find! We found this place off of DoorDash, we had never tried Afghani food before and wanted to branch out. I picked up under my husband’s name which led to a lovely conversation with Armand who I believe owns the truck. He was so unbelievably kind and hospitable. We just moved here, the moving process was horrible and it was so nice to meet such a kind person the first day. The entire interaction really did turn a terrible week around; it just shows how kindness between strangers can truly go a long way.
As if the atmosphere and the customer service alone wasn’t enough, THE FOOD WAS HEAVENLY! I got three items for 2 people which I assumed would leave a little extra for my lunch the next day….. that was wishful thinking. It was demolished within 30 minutes I let Armand know when I picked up the food that we loved spicy food so he included additional spicy sauce for us and that really took it over the top. When we order again we will get more of all the sauces since they were so good. We did not try anything other than their dumplings, lamb shank, and the chicken kebabs, which are all speciality dishes. There are other foods that they sell here but if you come here and only get a burger and fries you would be missing out.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better first Austin food truck experience nor a better first Afghani food experience. I highly recommend this place and will absolutely be back!

I drove an hour to try this place a couple of weeks ago, and since then, whenever we’re heading toward Austin, it’s my family’s first choice. Their smash burger is very flavorful and really big. The Chapli kebab with rice is also very tasty, and the Kabli Pulao is another go-to dish for us. The owner is very humble as well. 10/10.

I had the chance to eat at this Afghan food truck and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I tried the Qabuli Palaw and it was absolutely delicious — the rice was perfectly spiced, the meat was tender and juicy, falling right off the bone, and every bite was full of authentic, comforting flavor.
The place looked very clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus for me. On top of that, the service was outstanding — the person who helped me was kind, respectful, and very attentive.
I also appreciated that they have tables if you want to eat there, but you can also take your food to go. I definitely recommend this place 100% — a true gem for anyone looking to try authentic, well-made Afghan cuisine.
