One of the best restaurants in Oxnard.
Been here for take out and delivery and both ways, it’s always great. Food is packaged very nicely and always hot and fresh.
The birria is some of the best I’ve had. The prices are fair and you get a lot of food.
The beans are delicious and the tortillas are hand made. Both red and green salsas are spicy and extremely tasty. Also, their choco-flan is wonderful!!!
This is a no frills place but the food speaks for itself. Parking can be a challenge but it’s worth a short walk for the amazing food you’ll have.

This place offers traditional birria like it is made in Mexico. Most places i’ve found sell the birria that was popularized in America. But this restaurant truly hits the spot if you’re a native from Mexico that’s craving birria that tastes authentic.
The staff are so kind and respectful, the dishes are affordable taking in account how expensive meat can be these days, and the dishes are served in a good amount of time, not too much waiting time ! Which is perfect.
If you’re craving some authentic birria, i recommend you try out this place at least once

I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’m very accustomed to traditional Birria and consomé from Jalisco, but this place is very good. You can taste the spices and the authentic flavors both in the birria and consomé. The tortillas hechas a mano were very soft and have good flavor. The salsa bar for you to get your own things is a huge plus. They have really cold cans of Coke Zero (my favorite) and most importantly: great customer service! This guy knows how to run a business.

Great customer service and super clean when we were there. i noticed as soon as we were about to leave someone was ready to clean our table, not that we left it messy by any means. Now, down to the food, the food was great, the beef birria, beans, taco de asada ,quesa birra con el consume they were all great just for me the rice was a bit salty over a very enjoyable experience I just wished parking was better oh and watch out for the rear entrance there’s a sign to watch your step

The birria plate was very good—the birria itself is tasty and well-seasoned. My only issue was with the quesotacos. While they tasted good, they were much smaller than expected. Quesotacos are usually made with larger corn tortillas, but these were standard taco-size tortillas with very little meat.
This was especially disappointing because the meat portions on the birria plate and the birria nachos were very generous, which made the lack of birria in the tacos stand out even more.
Overall, my family and I enjoyed the food, but I was still hungry after choosing the quesobirria tacos. I would return in the future, but I’d opt for a plate instead.

The place was legit. If you judge a Mexican place for the number of home team fans they have. The place was packed. We didnt see any other fans the entire hour we were there. The food was good and hot. My only complaint is that my “crunch wrap had no crunch. We got tacos the crunch wrap and burrito. It was worth stopping and eating. Not a morsel of food was left. So good!

Been eyeing this spot for a while on 2g2g and finally able to snag a couple of surprise bags. The guy behind counter was friendly and attended to me right away. They gave so much birria and we made quesa-birria and ramen and still have half a box of birria!

The generosity of the people and food was truly amazing. We tried the birria tacos, tamales and horchata and they were all delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful and explaining everything to us. Thank you to the Birria Mi Rancho team ❤️

Had to walk around a mile to get here and I don’t regret it at all. The Birria Ramen was absolutely amazing. I damn near licked the bowl but remembered I was in a public restaurant. I don’t know what they back there seasoning there consome with but they didn’t miss. I order a Birria quesadilla to go. I just had to taste it to make sure I wasn’t just hungry when I ate the Birria Ramen. The results were they basically know how to make their meat SHINE!!! There is no telling how it would have went if I would have dipped that quesadilla in the large side of consome sauce they are sending with me… I look forward to walking that mile again see you guys soon and keep up the excellent work and great tasting food ..
