Nice little local spot to grab a meal with the family. Everything we ordered was great. Definite hit with the fried pickle chips. I ate the Clydesdale burger. Stefanie was are server and she did a super job. She was very knowledgeable of the menu when my wife had questions and was very attentive.

I just deleted my review from five years ago. Very disappointed now. At 5:55pm when we arrived they were out of the advertised “Special”. The Baked Potato Soup was mostly salt and pepper. The water has a funny taste. I miss the old Feed Bag.

Best restaurant in Farmington. They are accessible from East and Westbound Interstate 40 by using either NC Highway 801 or Farmington Road or from North and Southbound US Highway 601by using NC Highway 801.e really good nightly specials,at a reasonable price my wife ordered the 1/2 BBQ Chicken and I got a Pimento Cheeseburger and an order of Fries. The. Burger was cooked as ordered and was good and juicy but, the Chicken should have been cooked a little longer. Went in the restaurant intending to order a hotdog until I saw the price I mean REALLY $5.95 for a hotdog in rural Davie County!

Great atmosphere and wonderful food with excellent prices. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The owners greet their customers with smiles and make you feel welcome. They serve dinner Thursday and Friday night featuring specials such as chicken pot pie or steak tips. I personally had a Hamburger melt served on real Jewish rye with carmalized onions, not just fried onions. Best part is they make wonderful cookies. These are my favorite: blue berry lemon and chocolate chunk. Notice the fresh blue berries. Will definitely go back!!!

I remembered how I enjoyed the place but hadn’t been in several years so had the chance to drop in workday lunch. Initially only 1 table occupied but it was early abt 11:15. Few minutes later 2 men entered and the place kinda erupted. It got loud with lots of cussing, between these 2 and the waitress. Another group entered and it continued, this time the cook/owner entered the loud conversation with cussing. My food was great but it was challenging to remain seated. I finished my meal and asked for a tea to go. When the waitress picked up my cup, she placed her index finger down inside the cup and her thumb on the rim in total disregard for germs. I threw the tea away because of all the things I watched the waitress handle prior to picking up my cup. If these things don’t bother you, enjoy the good food. Hopefully the kitchen staff focuses more attention on not contaminating your food because the waitress didn’t seem to.

If you have not eaten at The Feed Bag yet then you are missing out. Lauren knows how to cook. Today they had a fish fry and goodness gracious it was amazing. If you are in or around Mocksville I highly recommend that you try it out.

Insane acoustics. Sound reverberates in such a way you can’t hear conversations at your own table. A very few sound absorbing panels would fix that.
It appears management has recently changed. Service isn’t what it used to be.
Zero phone service inside. Sure we like talking to our fellow diners but not at the chance of missing an important work call.
Worse issue is sitting with your food and seeing the young man that just prepared it using his cellphone WITH the rubber food prep gloves on. The same phone he puts against his face, takes to the restroom and sits around on any surface. Defeats the purpose of the gloves. This is the reason we won’t be returning.

The food was amazing! The biggest salad ever with fresh ingredients. It had chicken, tomatoes, corn (and tons of other veggies) and the most delicious dressing. The staff was super attentive and so welcoming. The owner, Lauren makes you feel like part of her family. Will definitely be back soon.
