Unfortunately, I got an email that said the order did not meet their standards and I have received 50% off next order. I believe this was a mistake, because everything about the order and delivery was perfect. I hope you can use this as evidence that my order was satisfactory and can change how it was marked internally.
Appreciate this location!
I ordered online and chose the wrong payment. I immediately called and paid with a card over the phone. When the driver arrived, with an attitude and 45 minutes later, he said I hadn’t paid and made me call the store. The young lady who had helped me (very sweet and kind) confirmed I paid. I even showed him my bank account. The manager said to pay or give the food back. Since I had already paid, I kept the food and the driver left. THE MANAGER CALLED THE POLICE! I showed him my bank account and that I was actually charged $5 more than my order.
The food was cold, the pizza falling apart, and they got one of the sauces wrong. On top of charging me $5 extra.
Word of advice for this manager, if you’re going to act so righteous, make sure you are in the right first. Now go eat some humble pie. I’m sure it will taste better than my pizza did.
The crust was 1 1/2 – 2 inches followed by another inch of dried, stained, sauce – certainly not extra and not even normal. The crust, of which there was a lot, was dry and tough – even the garlic butter couldn’t save it. A DiGiorno’s frozen pizza has better crust than this. Finally, the toppings were supposed to include parmesan cheese but didn’t have any that was discernible, and the 6 cheese blend was also indiscernible from mozzarella. The amount of toppings would be good for an 8 – 10 inch pizza but NOT a 14 inch large! Of course, the pizza had assumed room temperature and I had to put it in the oven to reheat.
I called the store and the manager quickly offered a store credit, but I don’t know if I’ll use it. My usual pizza delivery comes from Pizzaville but that evening their delivery time was an hour – so I ordered Papa John’s thinking they would be faster – which they weren’t. My bad… will not make this mistake again!
