Authentic Indian Curries at Sree Aarya Bhavan in Cumming, GA
Reviews
We came in hungry and tried several dishes, but virtually everything was poor. The Malabar paratha tasted like it was frozen, not fresh. The curry was extra spicy despite a request for medium. The fried rice had a noticeable sour/vinegar taste, and the noodles were too salty. Even the condiments were off: the chutney was bad and the powder tasted stale, while the sambar was oddly sweet.
The service was extremely slow. Our idly took over 30 minutes, and the staff forgot one of our Malabar paratha orders. Given the quality of the food and the slow service, there’s no reason to return.
This place is a total gem for Indian veggie lovers! The moment you walk in, you’re hit with the smell of fresh spices, sizzling ghee, and pure comfort. Veera invited my wife and me. We directly jumped to entrees. My wife ordered Special Onion Rava Dosa and I ordered Onion Masala Dosa along with Strawberry Lassie. The onion rava and masala dosas were massive, warm, and perfectly crisp. We would have liked one more kara chutney in addition to the chutneys and sambar offered.
Then came the paneer tikka masala for my son to take home —creamy, spicy, and absolutely addictive. Paired it with malabar paratha that was so fluffy and crispy.
Their mango lassi and strawberry lassie!!! Basically dessert in a glass. The owner Manoj and their staff were super sweet, happy to explain dishes, and the vibes were chill and cozy.
If you’re vegetarian—or just someone who loves flavor—this place is a must-visit. Pro tip: come hungry and wear stretchy pants!!!
The tawa paratha was perfectly cooked with a soft, flaky texture and just the right amount of crispiness. You can taste the freshness in every bite. It pairs amazingly well with any curry or chai. Truly a comfort food that hits the spot every single time. Highly recommended!

Soda is not recommended for Urad Dal Vada.
Taste was very good without the Soda.
Highlights were the Coconut Pudina chutney and Sambar. Fantastic.
Noodles were a let down. If you are ordering this ask for low spice level. It was unbearable amount of chillies for medium.
Chef needs to change Vada, Noodles recipe.
Rest all good
Looking forward to the thalis.
