I had a job on the other side of town so I googled Santiago‘s near my job and this was the nearest location. It’s 6:44 AM on a Saturday morning and I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes for two burritos. I understand that Santiago is always a little slow, but that’s a little ridiculous. And the attitude of the employees makes you want to leave a crappy review. I wasn’t able to try the food. The atmosphere was uninviting and heads up. If you want anything from this location, you absolutely have to call 30 minutes ahead.

Today was my second attempt at ordering food from this location. The first time I stopped by and was told it would be a 20 minute wait for burritos. Today I tried to call to order my burritos ahead of time and was hung up on, I called back again and the dude on the phone said cool beans and hung up the phone. Don’t even bother with this location. I definitely do not want extra cheese in my burritos.

I was at this location yesterday where I ordered 5 bean burritos. After ordering (I was the only person at the window) I was told my wait would be 20-30 mins. Being on a time crunch I couldn’t wait that long and requested a refund. No worries I get places ca be busy. Pedro at the window informed me that they do not offer refunds but if I wanted to “give him a large cash tip” he would speed up the process and I could get my order in 5 mins.
I demanded a refund and he told me there was nothing he could do as they don’t do refunds and I could “either wait for my food or they could give it so someone else”
Completely unacceptable for a restaurant to treat customers like this then ask for a bribe to get my food quicker. I’ve called 3 restaurants and all have told me they can’t do anything and would ask the owner to reach out within the next 8-10 business days.

They did a good job after taking over this chubbies location. The food is good although the hot isn’t as hot as it used to be from what I remember from early 2000s but there is an extra hot option that I havent checked out yet. Best idea is to order early or you’ll have to wait for them to make it fresh but they generally do a good job getting it out as quickly as they can.

I was in town visiting with my wife, we moved away several years ago. We came here almost immediately to get our El Chubby’s fix. Much to our surprise, it’s a Santiago’s now! We ordered walk up, the guy at the he window was very nice, the wait was only a couple of minutes between order and delivery. The food was hot and the taste was as good as any Santiago’s I’ve had when I lived here for most of my life. I see the other reviews with issues, we had zero. Just good personable people and the food I’ve loved for decades.

Dude at the window was great and friendly. I ordered eight burritos. 6 hot and 2 half n half. None of them were marked. All of them were barely room temp. None of them were spicy. At all.

I work in the service industry. I have never been treated nor would I treat a customer in the manner that the gentleman that waited on me this afternoon wait, was treating people. I didn’t know there was a drive up window or I would’ve driven up there but the people that were driving up there had to get out of their cars and come get in the line that I was in to get their food. He informed everybody when they picked up their food that he was the only person working in there, and when I walked away, there were four people in there, and a lady who would came outside to take a break. He informed me when I walked up to the window that he couldn’t wait on me because he had too many orders and that he wished I would’ve done it online. It also states that if you’re paying with a credit card you get to pay an increased price so I went to pay with cash and he said well I have a problem because I don’t have that much cash on hand. So because I work in the service industry, I had the exact amount needed for my bill. Which kind of pissed him off. Awful customer service. Food was not very good. The chili is not Santiagos chili. Englewood Donald Happy birthdaySantiagos is amazing they’re slammed and they take really good care of you and they treat people very nicely.

Why does everything have to be smothered in green chili sauce? Santiago’s breakfast burritos are probably one of the worst burritos I’ve ever had in my entire life. They’re wet and slimy, soggy and mushy, completely doused in green chili slime. The last time I went to Santiago’s and bought a breakfast burrito, I took a small bite, looked at it, threw the burrito against a wall.

The bean tostadas are so good. I also love their chile fries half and half. The first time I went and was confused thinking they only had a walk up window but they have a drive thru too. I recommend using the drive thru unless you are a delivery driver or a pick up order. They are super busy taking phone, online, window and drive thru orders. Yes, the wait times can be a little long but the food is worth it to me

Fantastic crew and fantastic food for the price! It’s nice that they have a drive-through but it’s better to order online beforehand if you don’t want to wait. It can get packed during busy hours!
