Red Cedar Bistro is a modern Tri-Regional Mediterranean restaurant with a full bar. With scratch-made food by Excutive Chef and owner, Larry Shore, the spirit of this restaurant comes from cooking for family and friends… many of which had told us to open our own restaurant. We have learned throughout the years, that cooking good food is about bringing people together and sharing the best of ourselves. Chef Larry’s experiences with his mother and great chefs from Provence, France… Sicily, Italy,… and around the Mediterranean give him the inspiration for our restaurant. We serve lunch, dinner & Sunday brunch. We use quality local or honorably sourced ingredients. (GMO-free, organic or all-natural whenever possible) GF, VG, Vegan, DF

What a hidden GEM! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I are from the East Coast and I also come from a southern Italian family. We both agree that this was the best food we’ve have had in our 10 years living in Colorado. Mixing flavors and dishes from regions all around the Mediterranean created some of the most fresh and mouth watering dishes. From Spanish goat cheese bruschetta with lavendar honey and chorizo (real chorizo) to the BEST falafel sandwich I’ve ever had. My husband had a farm to table bison dish that he couldn’t stop making noises over (you know mmmm good, oh my god so good lol). The owner was so friendly and the wait staff belonged in a fine dining restaurant, excellent knowledge and service. High recommend for a date night, guests in town (especially if you’re from the East Coast) or just a simple lunch. This place is phenomenal.

Looking online I was like wow, this looks great! Was so pleasently surprised to walk in and see it’s also all ORGANIC and NOGMO!! Yay!! Thank you! The side dish that came with the spinach spankopita was insanely delicious! My picky healthy eater bf was gobbling it down. I could eat that it everyday! Flatbread was the best I’ve ever had! The potatoes we ordered extra crunchy and everything was just perfect. I travel the country and it’s very rare to have good food, great service, and the atmosphere was so cute! Lots of coloring books to play with for the little one. Excited to go back! I keep telling my friends not once living in Denver have I felt satisfied eating out. I gave up on eating out until I moved up here. This place filled my soul! Thank you.

Such a delightful restaurant on Main. Always delicious eats and drinks and the service is warm and welcoming. They accommodated our party of 13 with such ease. Looking forward to the next visit so I can try more of their dishes and fun drinks! Quickly becoming a favorite spot in Longmont.

This place was fantastic! We enjoyed a filet mignon with a black pepper sauce, and our waiter from New York was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our kids’ meals were delicious too. I’m definitely looking forward to returning. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was incredible! The falafel wrap was delicious and filling. Tahini goddess dressing was to die for. The cocktails were perfect! Plant based options around every corner. Staff were all great, there just needed to be more of them. The three there did an amazing job, especially the server/bartender handling every table! Can’t wait to try more food and signature cocktails! A new Longmont favorite for sure!

I tried to get a reservation here a few months ago and it was booked solid on a weekend. I was able to secure a reservation on a Friday night. I now know why it was booked. The food was spectacular. Everything down to the pita was fresh and homemade, you could just tell. Not to mention the server informed us of the same. The service was not only friendly and attentive but they were very knowledgeable about the chef, his history, and what went into each dish. Of all the places we’ve been to in Longmont so far, this was our favorite for dinner. We’ll be back.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted and whisked away by a rather slim thing I can only assume was human although I didn’t check for a pulse. Mostly mundane trot to my table until something snagged and stuck to the sole of my sneaker. Stupid old beverage napkins love my feet. I mean I’m a foot guy and all but geez right? Anyway. IDK. Mind bendingly good here? No. No way Jose. Food is ok, but wine and tiramisu are chic things. What manly man sits down and eats a truffle souffle? Anyway I know this guy, Jose. No relation. He hasn’t been to red cedar yet. Please put more dude stuff on the menu, crepes are turning our men into creepy crepe people. I give this place a 5 star because at least on the way out the door here some street lady said I look great in blue jeans. I do.

My family tried this place for the first time for dinner yesterday evening and we were very pleased with our experience. We ordered a Mediterranean bowl, a cheeseburger, the vegan spanakopita, and the chocolate mousse dessert. Everything tasted phenomenal. The service was good and the vibe was on point. We will definitely be back!
