Aztlan Mexican Grill is a hidden gem! Hands down, they have the best tacos I’ve ever had. My husband and I ordered Asada tacos, and we tried them on both flour and corn tortillas. Both were out of this world, but the flour tortillas literally melted in your mouth, while the corn tortillas were so fresh, you could taste the authenticity in every bite.
The rice and beans were homemade perfection—exactly how comfort food should taste. The service? Absolutely top-notch. The staff made us feel like family, and they were so warm and attentive from start to finish. We also couldn’t get enough of the chips and salsa—fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice.
With great prices and portions, Aztlan Mexican Grill has officially become our go-to spot for Mexican food. Next time, I’m definitely trying the fajitas—I can’t wait! This family-owned restaurant delivers consistent quality and flavors that keep you coming back for more. A true neighborhood treasure! Highly recommend!

I ordered a beef burrito and it was very tasty. Lightly charred steak that was still juicy tender. Fresh ingredients, good balance of flavors. Atmosphere is no frills, but clean. We came on Labor Day, when most of our usual places were closed so it gave us a reason to try something new. We were happy to add another great place to our list. The steak Fajita Plate was very good, chips and salsa were delicious and fresh.

This place is a small local restaurant. The food had reasonable prices and plenty of seats!
I planned to only eat half my pollo torta (chicken sandwich) at the restaurant, but I ended up enjoying the entire torta! It was seasoned just right and the green spicy sauce made the taste even better.
They also provide some homemade tortilla chips. The quesadilla was also super flavorful. Very kind, attentive service too.
Lots of people seem to order to-go and come pick up locally.

I love this place. I have only ever order delivery online but finally got the chance to eat in. It’s a small and casual place where you order at the counter. The woman taking orders as well as the chef were so friendly. We got the asada burrito which is my go to when I have ordered online and it still does not disappoint. It’s actually my favorite burrito in Chicago. The meat is perfectly charred and flavorful. The provided sauces are also amazing. And the horchata is excellent. Highly recommend! Go support these folks.

Aztlan is one of the few restaurant I make a point of planning return visits for; the food here is so good that I often leave wishing I had a larger stomach so I could stay and enjoy more. The alambre, shrimp, and al pastor tacos are my favorites here. The quesadillas are also excellent, and the crunchy and savory taste of the hand made tortilla can’t be beat… The food here, to my palate, is as good as many of the restaurants I’ve visited in Mexico City.

All right, we got a fun one again just came across this restaurant googling it on my old neighborhood used to live on this neighborhood about 30 years ago
And I gotta say this place is hidden But they good some real good tacos for the low ,
Not to mention the cook cooked the meat well done, which this is a plus
All I gotta say that spots like this you can’t go wrong .

I had a torta de carne asada and a taco de al pastor when i was there. The taco was great but the torta needed a bit more seasoning. The two salsa they provide with the chips are very tasty. The salsa verde and the salsa roja each have a different kind of heat which is lovely and flavorful. All in all a good meal and great service. The 5th star i close but the carne asada needed more seasoning.
