This unassuming place mid-Market hits the spot when I’m hungry for a late night bite in this part of SF.
Pictured: hot, fresh & crispy fried chicken thigh, corn dog that taste like it should, and generously-sized, warm & soft chocolate-chip cookie. $10.34 all-in with tax & 18% tip. Tap-to-pay accepted.
The lady and gent at the counter were friendly, and seating inside was warm and safe on this stretch of 6th Street, which is almost always quite dicey outside on the street. And it’s open 24 hours.
Keep your head up and your eyes open on your way to and from this place at night and don’t expect anything fancy. Halal Burgers & More might be just the thing for you too.

My review reflects the establishment as a whole and not the surroundings because let’s face it, 6th st will always be 6th st. My fried fish & shrimp with chips were delicious except my shrimp couldn’t hold any breading on it. This place needs to do a better job of keeping the tables and floor sanitary as the tables were dirty and there were chicken wings on the floor. Lots of drinks and cakes, nice variety of things on the menu but very cheap on the hot sauce for 4 big pieces of fish, not to mention the 4 pieces of shrimp and fries.

The food is consistently great, and the fact that they’re open 24/7 is a lifesaver! But what truly makes this place stand out is their incredible service. Sabrina, who is always at the register, is a huge asset. She’s consistently smiling, incredibly polite, and makes me feel genuinely welcome every time I visit. It’s that level of service that keeps me coming back! Plus, the ramp makes it very easy for anyone with a wheelchair to get in and out. It’s an all-around great spot!

6th St between Market and Mission used to be the heart of San Francisco. Until the new jewish mayor Lurie stabbed it. We used to go out there, eat at Halal Burgers and then spend the night out. Without all the police state ruckus that is going on now end of Jan 26. But despite all the efforts of that obscene filth now sullying city hall, we still go out. And we still stop at Halal Burgers even though the scene has moved on. The food is excellent at prices that are very affordable. A chicken leg quarter, a potato salad and a drink is less than $10.
That said, they downsized the number of tables to sit at. That needs to be changed back.

Friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of dining space. And the food is phenomenal. Clean, juicy, tender. The fries are not regular fast food fries. They’re thick and seasoned perfectly. I had the fish sandwich for the first time and was blown out the water. Support this restaurant and get yourself some halal goodness.

Discriminative staff. We ordered and they left our food to sit while they made everyone else’s. Didn’t even tell us that our food was done. I mean how are going to be Discriminative towards trans people and your establishment sits right on the transgender district. Never coming here again

The coffee is inexpensive and always made fresh to order. The deep fried chicken is crispy, thick, crunchy and perfectly seasoned with lots of care. I highly recommend it and the entire restaurant is very clean, well-lit and smells delicious when you walk in the door. The service is exceptional and attentive to detail. I highly recommend this restaurant.

EBT Food card is honored here. This is a photo of Sunday night dinner with my husband. I love this place and we order everything here including the jumbo shrimp fried perfectly and well-seasoned like the classic traditional U.K. fish and chips served with crinkle cuts french fries or chips and creamy tangy tartar sauce.

Great customer service the food is wonderful I always get the fish and chicken combo, hands get three pieces of fish three pieces of chicken and fries for a reasonable price are they have other things on the menu as well as hamburgers cheesecake I don’t remember what’s all on the menu but it’s a nice selection. They used to have tables in there for you to dine in but they are remodeling and so they had to take the tables out I’m not sure if they’re going to put him back in or not
