I’ll start out by saying the food was delicious. Some of the better Chinese I’ve had in a while. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they messed up our order and gave me a Lo Mein instead of a fried rice and the lady was pretty dismissive and rude throughly our whole interaction.
She took my order while she was on the phone taking another customers order. So I imagine that’s how the rice got switched.
The inside is interesting. They have this giant plexiglass wall up separating them from the customers which may have also added to the misunderstanding about the rice (even though she asked me if I wanted it small or large).
But back to the food. Everything was outstanding. Nothing felt super heavy or greasy. Veggies were all good and crisp. Tofu was perfect.
Maybe the best Egg Foo Young I have ever had. And the wantons were also up there.

Out of several menu items. Cashier very rude. Took “FOREVER” Still waiting, lol! Order was wrong. Every customer before me had problems with their orders. Poorly lit. Menu hard to see through old dirty plexiglass separating cashier from customers. Talk to cashier through speaker and microphone. Get food through a bank drive through type homemade drawer. Bathrooms boarded up. Would not recommend even to people I don’t like!

Ordered the food over the phone, and was told my total was almost $25. I get there, the young lady had a mad look on her face. I usually have RBF too but to a certain degree. lol. Gave her my number for my order and she told me it was $31 and some change. I paid for it but I asked why it was more than what the man said on the phone. She showed me to ticket which only had the total. In a nice way I said I didn’t care about what the total on the ticket was. I wanted to know why it was that much. She just continued to show me the ticket. I’m not being a Karen but cmon. That’s not how you run a business. As far as the food, the egg roll was the best I’ve ever had. The fried dumplings were really good as well. The combo we got was really bland but still good. I added some seasoning and it was great afterwards. Our rice wasn’t fried rice like we ordered. I might go here again one day but definitely will make sure everything is how it should be with the total and the rice.

My favorite place in McMinnville, TN. When eating at Chinese Restaurants, my acid test has always been their Egg Drop soup. If it tastes good, then the rest of the food is good. If it doesn’t, prepare for disappointment. It has never failed me for my first 38 years on Long Island and in New York City and my last 21 years in Tennessee. The menu is somewhat limited, and by that I mean they do not serve some of my favorite dishes, but what they serve is always good. I always order takeout and extras for the 3 of us. Bon appetite!

Been coming here since I was a child with my family and still love it. Watched the family grow up as I was growing myself. Food is always affordable and nice. I really love the people who work here even though they can be quiet at times. I always try to smile and say thank you as much as possible and leave a tip. Love them so much! Please, don’t ever close

I have ordered from here for three days because I have been sick and only wanted soup. My egg drop soup had some mold in it. That is my only complaint. There could be some better customer service but I really think it is just a language/culture barrier. I don’t think they are intentionally rude.

Well I gave them three chances for dinner after ordering lunch once that was fresh and hot. I am under the impression that this must be what its like to order communist chinese food. Never hot, crispy is rubbery from sitting too long hot and sour soup not hot or sour. Half of the sweer and sour chicken was sort of fresh other half was hard refried. I watched them dump the whole basket at once in my container., so fool me once but when I see it your the fool. Even the crispy noodles are stale. And if you complain they argue and act like your wrong when obviously it wasn’t or there would be no reason to complain. Just like it would be in their homeland. ONLY GOOD FOR LUNCH POSSIBLY??
