Free soup. There is a station you can just pull yourself a cup it was pretty bland. But no complaints, it’s free.
We ordered three dishes for two people. The last dish was salt and pepper shrimp they brought it to us in the very end when we almost done eating the first two so we couldn’t eat it because it’s more like an appetiser dish.
So if you order us to bring them first .

Great food for some HK cafe favorites. Definitely coming back when we’re in the mood for some home style meals.

I wish they had a few more servers during the busy dinner rush. However, shoutout to Jeremy for the excellent service and food! He’s the real mvp!

Love the food and atmosphere! Was pleasantly surprised by the fusion of different cuisines.

Food: The Hainan Chicken is pretty good with portion of chicken (black meat), rice and chicken soup. I’d say the black meat’s meat and skin ratio is not too ideal but acceptable. The Beef in Egg Drop Sauce is very much recommended! It’s a big portion, it’s enough for 2 or even 3 to share! The Hot and Sour Soup is not the traditional flavor, so I wouldn’t recommend to people who are looking for the light texture or Taiwanese style.
Service: the staff is nice though they are very busy. We were lucky enough to sit by the service station, so we grabbed our own chopsticks and takeout boxes instead.
Ambiance, casual but viby at the same time. It’s very comfortable. We see family and friends groups dining here at the time we were there and they have high chair with round table as well.

Probably the nicest HK cafe in Fremont. The baked pork chop rice was fantastic and it had egg and hot dog. Milk tea is not bad, could’ve been stronger. The hot plates looked great at the next table.

The vibe is interesting. It’s like hip and cool and they even have open mic karaoke at night and a walk of fridge filled with beer. But it also looked like it wasn’t maintained in a way? The fridges has other groceries in it so it looked like a mom’s and pops hole in the wall instead. And the fun area by the front door looks abandoned. It would be a cool place they tidied up a bit.

I was really disappointed with this place. The mango in the dessert was completely unripe, hard and not sweet at all. I asked if they could switch it out for ripe mango, but the server just said no, with no explanation or effort to help. The attitude wasn’t friendly.

No one ever came by to refill our water the whole time I was there, which just made the service feel careless.

The meat sauce pasta was super bland, and I
waited almost an hour for the food. The restaurant was also really dark.

I cannot wait to write a review about this place. There is no theme to any thing coming out from the kitchen. Food is greasy, the only complement is the free soup. The dishes are huge portions but that’s about it with good price but by any food standard, way too much oil.

Lunch during pandemic on a Saturday noon. There was plenty of parking and we were seated immediately. Overall, the food was very good but there is one thing to watch out for if you do not eat spicy food. Three items we ordered were spicy but was not indicated on the menu. We initially ordered them to share amongst the family but both my wife and son do not eat spicy food and therefore was not able to eat any of them. Other than that, everything else was good; the place was nicely decorated and clean, food arrived quickly, and the staff were friendly.

Honestly, the food is ok, nothing is outstanding compared to the restaurants in this complex. The steam yellow chicken tastes just fine but it’s cool, I think if it’s served hot it will be better. Salted and pepper fried tofu is too much breaded, crunchy but I just personally don’t like a thick flour cover for any fried food. Seafood fried rice is good with many different toppings. Pork Green bean is too much greasy. Good service, friendly staffs.

Very nice little restaurant with high ceiling, very spacious. They have a combo menu which is only $29.99 and you can order 3 dishes, it also come with soup in cute little cups.
Everything was tasty. It would be nice if the waiter can smile more tho 🙂
