The people there are so nice and polite!! Went at 12:30am and they were set up and ready. My food came out quickly and I took it home. It was so so so so so good! Not from SC, but would definitely come back here if I were in town!! Ordered lamb over fries!!

Sam’s is our go-to eats in weat ashley! We usually door dash. The food is always fresh and easy on the tummy. We went to pick up our order in person tonight as they turned off delivery option.
I’m so glad we met the owner and staff! Truly amazing humans cooking amazing food! If you’ve never ordered from this amazing food truck, do so soon!

Terrible baba ganoush. It must have spoiled or something. It was runny and sour/acidic. More acidity than a pineapple for example. Something was wrong with it for sure! I threw it away. Uber Eats hasn’t responded about a refund but $10.99 is a lot for something that I couldn’t even eat. ):

I’m not from the area, but I go out of my way to stop by here if I’m passing through.
The lamb/chicken pita I just had was tender, flavorful, and taste super fresh. The pita was perfect.
I’ve only gotten the lamb and/or chicken pita w garlic sauce, but it all looks and smell good!
Can’t wait to try something new next time!

The flavors are incredible! A quick drive from the Air Harbor neighborhood in West Ashley. The floral basmati reminded me of an Armenian dinner party, like instantly took me back, I went to as a kid and the beef schwarma was delicious with flavors of clove, definitely get the garlic sauce it is divine. Sam’s curry is amazing!!! The saffron. Tastes of the east, I could feel the ancient love. Such comfort food. I highly recommend! (I am having leftovers for breakfast ) Thank you, Sam!

Original review I left is below this one. Tried it again because of a classy response to my first review. I got the chicken shawarma plate and baba ghanoush. The baba was absolutely freakin excellent. The rice was damn good. The shawarma just wasn’t shawarma; it didn’t have any of the crispy edges that indicated it was cooked on a spit. That said, they were more or less completely dead when I showed up, so I see why they wouldn’t have an entire spit of roast chicken going at that time. Also, my food was exactly on time like they said it would be. Bumping up my stars on this review. They deserve it.

Showed up after a concert, told the guy I had 15 minutes and asked if I could get some food during that time. He said to give him 20 minutes. 35 minutes later I left without my food because I ran out of time. It seems like he was trying to get ahead on prep or clean up, because I kept seeing him leaving the food truck and going to the back to wash things instead of cooking my food

Everytime we come here, no mater who’s working, we see them using their bare hands touching ready to eat food like salads right in front of everybody. It’s as if they’re unaware it’s a critical health code violation. It makes me wonder what other critical violations are going on in that truck that we can’t see.

I ordered the chicken and beef shawarma. The food was very bland, no salt, no spices. The shawarma came in tough chunks of meat; I’ve never seen shawarma served like that. It’s usually shaved off the grill this was not! The chicken was the same tough and tasteless.
