I recently celebrated my best friend’s birthday at Albertine Charlotte, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The ambiance immediately stood out, with beautiful decor that felt both elegant and welcoming. It created the perfect setting for a special celebration.

The food was just as impressive. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. You can tell there is real attention to detail in both presentation and taste.

The service was immaculate. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure our group felt taken care of the entire evening. It truly elevated the experience.

As an added bonus, they validate parking, which made everything even more convenient.

Overall, Albertine Charlotte made my best friend’s birthday unforgettable. I highly recommend it for any special occasion or a memorable night out.

This might be my new favorite restaurant in Charlotte, i will be talking about this place for the rest of the week. Food, service, atmosphere even the music was great! I ordered the lamb kefta, whipped feta, spicy pickled okra for appetizers. My entree was the trout with potatoes and brussel sprouts. N/A sparkling wine. Everything was 10/10. Nailah was a great server! Thank you for a lovely dinner.

Oh, Albertine, how you have captured my heart. Serving Mediterranean fare with a Southern twist, this restaurant pairs impressive cuisine with genuine Southern hospitality. The space itself is a showstopper—marble tabletops, a statement bar backsplash, and ambient lighting leave no detail overlooked. An absolute stunner, and a shining gem in Charlotte’s dining scene.
The team here is exceptionally thoughtful: guests receive a text not only confirming their reservation, but also providing clear directions for the three hours of complimentary parking in the adjacent Duke Energy Plaza building.

Both the food and dessert menus are winners. I ordered the stuffed dates, cordero asado, and knafeh cheesecake—all well prepared. While the dates could have been prepared more juicy and softer, the peanut muhammara was pure genius and a delightful enhancement. The cordero would be even more perfect if paired with a side of bread or pita to soak up the savory jus. The cheesecake proved a scrumptious finale—definitely enjoy it with a latte or cappuccino.

I am eager to return and explore more!

Recently celebrated my 30th with some close friends and we were all very impressed with the experience. From start to finish, all needs were met! From service, to taste, to attentiveness from the whole entire staff! Mary…thanks again for the phenomenal service and care ❤️ It’s hard to find around the city these days so we appreciated it. The quality cocktails, delicious and savory dishes and perfect wine pairings all complemented the experience just right. Can’t wait to come back and do it all over again!

What an incredible meal! Our server Abigail was so friendly – expertly guided us through the menu. Cam came through with some amazing drinks. Highlights were the hot quail of course, liver toast, the crispy malawach, the pasta special, all the dips, all the breads and many more. Will visit again next time we’re through Charlotte. Thank you Team for making our last night in town unforgettable!

We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary at Albertine last night, on 11/09, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for our celebration! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so special and welcomed. Even when I called to confirm that I booked the correct room, I was met with excellent customer service. The ambiance was moody, romantic, and beautifully set up—exactly what we hoped for on such an important night.

Every dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. We started with two dips: The whipped feta and the zaalouk. Both delicious. Steak Frites and Rock Crab Mafaldine pasta for dinner. Kataifi Cheesecake for dessert. You can really tell chef puts their heart into every plate. The service was also impeccable—attentive and friendly without being intrusive— gave us warmed lavender and eucalyptus towelettes and wiped our table in between courses. They even took a Polaroid photo of us and left us a note at the end of the evening.

It was an evening we’ll never forget. Thank you to the Albertine staff (Jake, Khad, and Anna especially) for making our milestone celebration so memorable. We’ll definitely be back for many more special occasions!

The place is gorgeous, definitely a beautiful restaurant. Food was excellent, but damn it’s expensive. The lamb chop was insane. The desserts were unbelievable. Definitely worth the visit, get dressed up, take photos and enjoy the great service. Just order all the stuff and plan on dropping loot.

Albertine is a beautiful restaurant with fantastic service and ambiance. Servers were extremely attentive and I really enjoyed their cocktails.

Unfortunately, the food fell flat for us and every single dish just wasn’t very delicious or was disappointing which at the end of the day is the most important part of the experience for us.

Key examples:
– Razor clams: I was really let down by this dish because I expected actual razor clams. Instead, it was like really small chopped up bits – it felt like you were getting 1/3 of a razor clam in each shell.
– Tuna crudo: Recommended by our server, the sauce that reminded me of spicy chili crisp completely overwhelmed the dish and you could barely make out the tuna.
– Steak frites: Steak was cooked very nicely but the potatoes were basically burnt (you can see how black some of them are) and just too crispy (I love crispy foods but these were like eating crunchy carbon).
– Rock crab malfadine: this was fine; pasta was cooked nicely. The sauce seemed really soupy, opposite of some nicely emulsified clingy sauces you have at an Italian spot. The rock crab didn’t really seem to add much either; we couldn’t really taste it unlike the chilled rock crab dish.

We don’t venture uptown often because generally the restaurants are disappointing. However, we are glad we made an exception for Albertine. The decor and vibes were wonderful and so unique without trying too hard or being too trendy. The bar is absolutely gorgeous and I plan to go back and sit at it at some point.

The food was great. The mezze options stole the show. They have so many options and all of the ones we go were so good with the bread they came with. The crispy quail was also wonderful. I was skeptical of the hot honey it came with but it was more of a tangy sauce than sweet. Between the quail and mezze I was full before my entree even came. However, the lamb entree was also very flavorful and delicious.

Our server, Bailey, was wonderful throughout our meal. She explained nearly everything on the menu and there were many things I was not familiar with. Her descriptions helped us pick things we probably would not have selected on our own and they were delicious!

This would be a great place to come with 4-6 people and share a bunch of things, particularly if there are some vegetarians in the group. I’ll definitely be back!

We brought our almost two year old and had a fantastic time! The staff were all very sweet and attentive, and they even had a selection of kids toys to play with at the table! The food was phenomenal and I’ll be dreaming about the cheesecake for weeks! Can’t wait to come back!
